I needed a webcam for my ServiceNow certification trainings and exams (CSA – Certified System Administrator). The testing requirements are very specific: no auto focus, no zoom, and it has to be a wide-angle camera. The product details didn’t make it clear if this model met those needs, but after testing it myself, I can confirm — it works perfectly. This camera handled everything without any issues during my certification exams. The image quality is clear and stable, and it connects easily without extra setup. It also comes with a remote control that lets you turn off the auto focus and digital zoom, which is exactly what ServiceNow’s testing rules require. The instructions are straightforward, and it only took a few minutes to get everything configured. Since the time of COVID, the legal profession has changed and 95% of my depositions are now through zoom. Since I still do have a physical office, I was hesitant to conduct my depositions at home, and chose to drive to the office to do them. Now that I have a baby and I am in need of the flexibility of being able to do a huge part of my job at home, I purchased this camera to replace the one I previously had that had such low quality video. At first, it was actually a little embarrassing to show up to depositions because of how low quality my camera was. Once I plugged this in, I could see the big difference in picture quality. The very next day, I conducted a deposition at home and was very happy with the quality! I am also impressed with the price point. For reference, I use a mac mini at home!

This webcam has a number of useful features and thus far I have not had any issues using it. The tripod is basic but is stable and does the job. I like the fact that the webcam is plug and play, as I'm restricted from installing software on my work computer. The cable is sufficiently long for my applications (approx. 70"). Decals are included but are not very useful if the lens cover is installed. Picture is ok, but as others have noted, it can be a bit washed out. Much better with good light and can be improved using controls on the remote. Compared to my current set up, which lacks a tripod and is glitchy with some applications, this webcam is a huge improvement.

First off - the remote control is necessary. When I had my first Teams meeting, the camera kept searching for the focus, so you need to hit the middle button within the rocker and it'll stop the focusing function. The zoom in/out is pretty cool and for the first time, I don't look like a heart attack victim in being illuminated by the sun. You can get the right look you want, but be careful to not look too sunburned! This is the second webcam from Depstech I've owned, the first is their 1080p camera, which is still going strong. I just wanted to have a camera for my personal and work computers. Good stuff!!

It works okay it’s slow and I don’t think the video is 4k at all but it’s decent for the price

With an upcoming Zoom project, I needed a webcam for my Mac Mini. After looking at several less expensive units, I selected the DEPSTECH 4K Webcam. I have previous experience with the DEPSTECH endoscope, and know it to be a quality instrument. I am not disappointed. The image is excellent, as is the audio. It comes with a remote to make adjustments to image size (soon), color, saturation. Auto-focus works smoothly. The webcam also comes with a nice tripod, metal - not plastic. After trying the webcam on the tripod and on top of my monitor, I found it convenient to just set it on my desk in front of the monitor. Although it is more expensive than most of the other offerings, you of get what you pay for. Buy this one - you won't be disappointed.

Excellent camera for the price and desgin, it does have trouble focusing in certain lower light scenarios but overall a decent quality. Features for adjusting camera settings are built in. (No software)

Using this for my youtube channel, the quality is soo much better than my laptop cam. Just make sure you turn off the auto-focus with the remote which is the middle buttons between the light and dark buttons. As it likes to zoom zoom all the time lol picture is taken from the camera and is used on my youtube channel. nice and clear and super easy to use, havent recorded the sound as of yet but you can adjust the brightness and colouring from the remote! works with stream labs OBS and filmora.
