A great basic switch at a low cost
It works great for me and was very inexpensive. I had an 8-port switch for my home theater setup and ran out of ports, and this 16-port switch solved that problem. I can't comment on how well the switch works with a lot of clients under heavy load because with my home theater setup I only tend to stream a few things at once (at most), but it really solved my problem!

Great value.
Worked great so far. If it last a couple of years it’s worth the price.

Works well under heavy load, plug and play, good value
The unit is slim, doesn’t get very hot, wall mountable and performs well. I’ve got CCTV, a NAS, Router, WiFi extender and several PCs connected. This device is getting hammered through the day with working from home, large data transfers and streaming. I’ve had no issues or data drops. It’s wall mounted in my garage which regularly goes over 90F in summer. No issues at all. Great purchase for the price. Oh, and I’ve worked in IT for over 30 years.

Unmanaged simplicity
I used this product to replace a Cisco Small Business 48 port switch that was well past its support lifecycle. Managed switches require firmware and the vendor can just decide at some point that customers haven't given them money recently enough and just end support for the product. An unmanaged switch should give more mileage since there is nothing to update. I only logged into the management every fifth blue moon or so anyway so nothing lost really. I have this switched uplinked to a managed switch where I can do any layer 2 management needed as well. The switch has performed flawlessly in the month or so that it has been running. I added an inexpensive 1000BASE-T SFP module also from Amazon for an uplink, so that the 48 RJ-45 ports are available for devices. It is at half capacity or so currently, so I should be set port wise for a long time.

Excellent performance for the price
Zero noise and stays fairly cool. Must have had a redesign since some of the comments about thermals. Easily can handle fully saturating 10Gbps. Will update review when fully populated.

Works well
Works great. Get 600mbps read from Synology NAS 10G Ethernet SMP+ to PC connected via 10G fiber. Very happy. Doesn't impact my 2.5G Ethernet + SMP switch which is connected via 10G SMP+ fiber to Mokerlink 10G switch.

Runs hot. Ports intermittently drop connection.
Runs hot. Ports intermittently drop connection. Throughput is painfully slow and read/writes frequently fail after only about 6 months of use.

UPDATED: QUESTIONABLE
UPDATE: I’ve had this for a bit longer than the below mentioned 6 months and I am now getting regular disconnections of my wired backhaul satellite access points (aka mesh routers), haven’t had this before and the APs are acting fine in wireless backhaul, so am speculating the switch to be at fault, but can’t be for sure certain as it has been intermittent but repetitive. Since this is a used at a remote location it ticks me off, I didn’t purchase this to be “cheap” just needed a good value positioned unmanaged switch. Guess I’ll be going back to Netgear or TPlink as I need to trust the switch. It started out good, but has since become flakey. Oh well Had a need for a simple unmanaged switch in an older house with modest but fiber internet connection. Plugged it in and boom was running as expected, easy-peasy. This has fit the bill wonderfully so far (about 6 months). Even though it is fanless, (aka no noise) mine has stayed cool both at idle and at speed. Throughput matches a switch-less connection speed so can’t complain. Value is definitely there. Happy overall.

Came supplied with European plug. I dont want to use an eu/uk converter which would be less stable/robust than uk three pin. I sent the unit back. No explanation or apology received. No mention on the listing of the eu plug. Mystery.

Insufficient Power and thermal dissipation. Fails to function consistently. Works OK with 1 RJ-45 !0G Transceiver (ipolex), 1 !G SR Fiber Transceiver and one AOC (active optical fiber cable) but will fail to work consistently adding more stuff. This should be only offered as a 4 port unit with same size and power. Definitely NOT AN 8 PORT UNIT! Too many cost cutting measures ruined the production of this unit. It should built-in power supply not low power, low voltage adapter. I would not recommend this unit as is. If you own one make sure you do not have more than 4 SFP modules plugged in or there will be problems. I think DAC (direct attach cable) might not work with this unit because most DAC cables from 10Gtek do not Auto Negotiate.
