Works great and an amazing value for your money. I have cut thousands of clones and this one works the absolute best. If you are cloning be sure to only soak the plants as deep as you wants roots. I made the mistake of soaking too far up my stem and roots were busting out with no medium to grow into which isn't the worst thing in the world but can lead to root rot for unexperienced cultivators. In my opinion that just shows how great this product works.

I use this for new plants and somewhat dying plants mainly. It's easy to measure, though the markings could be darker to make them easier to see. Instructions are simple to use and understand.This helps new plants grow roots and get a better base faster, and if your plants are starting to die-yellow/brown and wilting-but haven't hit the death mark yet, this root dip may be able to bring it back to life with some tlc.I use this for every transplant I make to help the roots become established faster. I recently transplanted 3 watermelon plants where I used the dip for 2 of them and not the 3rd. And of course, the 2 that I used this are living and producing, while the 3rd is dead.

As a horticulture student I'd heard so many great things about rooting cuttings with IBA-3 (which is the active ingredient in this product) so I decided to try it for myself. I did have really good results, and nearly all of my plants rooted. I will say, this isn't like your typical rooting hormone.To use, you dilute the solution with water to the specified level on the little plastic cup provided and dip the ends of the cuttings. What's left of the solution needs to be used within 10-12 hours, then disposed of properly. The instructions didn't provide much information on how to dispose of it, however, which is why I gave 3 stars for ease of use. It is water soluble and degrades in light, so i further diluted it and used the water on my outdoor plants. I still don't know if this is the "correct" way to dispose of it and will not use it again until I can contact the company to make sure.It's also not very cost-effective if you only have a few cuttings to do, since any solution you mix has to be used right away and can't be saved. It's also really important to read the directions carefully and use this product in a well ventilated space with proper PPE to keep it from getting on your skin. I used gloves and wore long sleeves.With all that being said, this is a great product for propagating difficult to root plants as long as it's used correctly.

This is the best rooting hormone on the market. It is an alcohol solution that contains two of the most powerful rooting hormones: IBA and NAA. All other rooting hormones on the market, except the products from Hortus and Rhizopon, are less potent. Studies show that IBA is the most powerful of the rooting hormones, but having NAA mixed in has been shown to increase the rates of success and the quality of the roots. Similarly, studies show that mixing the hormones into alcohol helps them absorb more quickly into the plant cutting. Another benefit of the alcohol is that it disinfects the cutting, which prevents the cutting from being infected with fungus or bacteria that would otherwise rot the cutting. The disadvantage of the alcohol is that some cuttings from certain types of plants can be "burned" by the alcohol. This burning can be controlled by diluting the solution in water, and also by limiting the amount of time the cutting is dipped in the solution.Going back to preventing cuttings from rotting before they grow roots, I highly recommend using the Root Riot plugs instead of soil or anything else for sticking the cuttings into. The Root Riot plugs have natural anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties as well as a terrific spongey texture that is excellent for rooting cuttings.

Product was unable to be used because 80% of the bottle had leaked out. It was definitely old because it was dried up and crusty.

Iv tried few products but none worked the way this did!!! Definitely will buy again when I run out now I don’t have to worry about the expensive cuttings I buy!!! I will know they will grow roots with this rooting hormone love it!!!

It is the first time I have used liquid plant rooting hormone. I like the ability to vary the concentration strength by adding water. The cutting dip cup is a very handy addition. I am this product on various hardwood cuttings. It is too soon to tell how well it works.

It was encouraging to find the the instructions for this product comprehensive and easy to follow. The product is also easy to use. I am an absolute novice regarding gardening and I have never had much success taking cuttings. However, at the time of writing this review it looks as though my Hydrangea cuttings are rooting. I am hoping this Hormone Rooting Solution will be the only one I will ever use.

Can't say enough good things about this Rooting Hormone. Have had 100% success rate using this, and very easy to use, Highly recommended.

Has not worked for me yet. I here that it works well. I will test it on softwood cuttings soon.
