Overall very nice. The black round eraser is quite hard and does not erase very well at all. The white rectangular erasers that come with the kit work quite well. Initially I erased with the black round eraser then went over with the white rectangular eraser but the black eraser is hard on paper, so now I just use the white rectangular eraser. Happy with set because the pencil feels good in the hand, thicker lead does not easily break, and good supply of leads. UPDATE: This is a fine writing pencil and after using it daily I am upgrading the review to 5 stars. I have the 1.3 mm and can put nice pressure when writing with bold lines. The only thing I will mention is that when the lead gets to 5/8 inch you can't put any pressure writing and I thought the clutch was malfunctioning, but once I put a new lead in it worked fine. And again I will mention the 4B soft eraser works well. I am ordering the 35 piece set with 0.5 mm, .7 mm and .9 mm pencils.

I was truly surprised at the quality and what all comes in the kit at this price. The pencils aren't heavy but have a strong robust feel. Plenty of additional refils of erasers and lead. Highly recommend!

I recently purchased the Nicpro 3 PCS 1.3 mm Mechanical Pencils Set, and overall I think it's a good set of pencils. It did take me a little bit of time to get used to them, but once I did, I found them to be very comfortable to write with. The weight distribution of the pencils is great, and the grip is very comfortable. The 1.3mm lead size is perfect for my needs. It's tougher than a 0.9mm lead and can handle writing on course surfaces and unlike a 2mm pencil it doesn’t need to be sharpened I also find that the thickness of the lead allows for a more bold and clear line without being too thick. One downside is that the weight of the pencil may take some getting used to. I like to keep my pencil in my hat, but these pencils are a bit heavier and tend to fall out. Despite the barrel being a plastic resin it seems very durable and I believe that they will last a long time if not abused. Overall, for the price, I am satisfied with this set of pencils and I may even purchase another set to have in more locations. If you are in need of a good set of mechanical pencils with a thicker lead, I would definitely recommend giving these a try.

This is my favorite mechanical pencil. By far it is ruggedly built, the lead is smooth and writes darkly on paper with little to no pressure; straight up smooth. It is a metal tube with weight and I thought I might get tired of using it; no way. This is also a great gift to children going back to school; the lead is not going to break at every little usage. A nicely crafted mechanical pencil. I do lots of mathematical calculations; the white eraser cleaned the paper without damaging the notebook. FIVE STARS AWESOMESNESS!!!!! NICPro if you need representative for this product choose me; but I'm a nobody.

Awesome pencil, lead is strong, but the eraser is worthless.

Really nice set - great price, feels high quality, great amount of led, and great organizer. Not one bad thing to say, and I'm a nitpicky bastard. I love these pencils. Enough said, time to get back to working on those house plans!

These pencils are awesome. They got some weight to them, very durable. I love the bold writing. Comes with plenty of replacement leads and erasers.

Edited Review: BE ADVISED - The description and advertised Image of this pencil kit, IS INCORRECT! You won't receive 72 lead refills and 12 refill erasers! Deeper into the advertised description you will see that you only get 48 lead refills (12 of which are a mix of Yellow & Red lead sticks). SEE THE ATTACHED PICTURE! I am trying to inform people before they purchase this brands pencil set, under false advertising! I intend to make AMAZON aware of this error. Now, on with my original review, which was 5 stars, then moved to 3 stars, because I was pissed I didn't get what was advertised, but do love the pencils! I was originally looking at the "Write in the Rain" brand pencil, to compliment my "Write in the Rain" notepads. Then I discovered the NICPRO pencil set on Amazon. After careful study, and reading the reviews. I decided these are worth a shot. I was excited to discover that these pencils are the same great quality as the Write in the Rain mechanical pencils. And At 1/3 the expense, plus all the extras! Plus they are available in a variety of cool colors! The set comes with a sturdy case, nicely organized, and a small instruction sheet. The set included the 3 large erasers, a tube of 6 pencil erasers, 4 tubes of 1.3mm lead refills (3 tubes of black and 1 tube of yellow & red lead). Each tube contains 12 sticks of lead. It also included the 3 mechanical pencils. The pencils are heavy weight, very durable and have a knurled metal grip. Each pencil is preloaded with 1 stick of lead, and 1 eraser cap, and a handy pocket clip. I love a good mechanical pencil for drafting, wood working, carpentry, sketching, note taking, and every day use. The heavy duty lead won't break as easily as my 0.7mm lead does. Plus, its so durable, it could even be used as an emergency defensive weapon! These write easily, and are easy to use and reload. The design is superb, simple and elegant. This has became my new favorite Go To Pencil, and will be put into daily use! Tiene un peso agradable para el trazado. Yo simplemento lo utilizo para escribir y hacer bosquejos de dibujo técnico. Lo único que le pide a otras marcas es que sea todo el material en metal. Para empezar, es más que perfecta, se nota que esta hecha para durar mucho tiempo.
