Check your plug
This is a 3-pin socket tester. Not the right tester for a US household 240v 4-pin dryer socket - check your plug - one pin is curved, one is round, two are flat.

Does not fit dryer 220v outlet in USA
I did an online chat on the company website and was assured this device could be used to test the 220v dryer outlet at a home we are buying. Nope-the prongs are angled incorrectly. Waste of money.

Nice tester but does not fit USA 6-15R or 6-20 R receptacles,blades are way to big!
