78354 10-Piece 3/8" Drive 6 Point Pinless Universal Torque-Saver Impact Extension Socket Set - Metric

Saw these and it was a fraction of the price for a well known set. This is equivalent in price as one swivel extension from the trucks that sells tools. Came in a good quality and durable case and had good amount of grease on the sockets to prevent rust as with most sockets. Fits in all 3/8 impact drives and ratchets. As for the functionality, it does not come out easily or have difficulty putting it in. It’s really well made and holds the sockets in place. Just finished a job at my house to replace lower control arms, struts, inner and outer tie rods, and a bunch of other things. If the sockets held its grip for suspension work, then it has no issues with under hood engine work. I’m surprised that these are so cheap but the quality is so high. I really put these sockets to use to break some suspension bolts and nuts. The numbers on the sockets are large and looks good, easy to read. This is a great purchase and a great buy! The sockets really held its shape after very heavy use, I’m really surprised! Great product!

This is a GREAT set and yet another home run from astro!! These things are a full 10 piece, no skip set, with a nice blow molded case as well. Matco has a this EXACT SAME set that is split into 2 separate sets, and the complete set from matco retails for over $600!!! Yes, to get the full 10-19 mm set from matco, your looking at about $615 plus tax, but for this entire set, it is only $113!! How have these things not made a youtube debut yet?? This is a great set, at an even better price!! These type of tools are a luxury, and are not necessarily something you have to have in your toolbox, but at $113 for the set, you don't have to break the bank to have these in your aresenal!! I am just in awe over this set, and how cheap they are compared to matco! Astro does it yet again!! ****UPDATE**** These things have been taking an absolute beating. I've literally taken these things up through there and they keep chugging. I've even attached my 1/2 impact gun with an adapter to these things for certain stubborn fasteners, and they eat it up like it's nothing. Astro now has a 1/2" version with sizes from 13mm-24mm available!! Part number #78254

Astros never let me down. This sockets can handle the torque,are the perfect thickness ,fit and are plenty durable! Then function great and if you think they feel stiff at first out the box I assure you they aping nice even at high angle

Understand that these are impact rated so and budget tools so the wall thickness of the sockets is a little bit bulkier so not necessarily for tight spaces but good for if you don't have access straight on and have to come from a bit of an angle, the extra bulky extension portion is on purpose so that there's less torsional flex or twisting which allows your impact wrench to transfer more power into the bolt or nut. Definitely worth it if you're going to need this type of thing

Use these a lot ant they are holding up. I am a diesel tech and bet on these often. The only downside is that it is painless which i have never had painless last very long
