Ninjaaaaa
I was looking at my past orders and came across this. It’s one of the few appliances we have bought and NEVER had a problem with (knock on wood). Especially coffee/espresso makers we have tried many and and many have failed. This has been working flawlessly since 2023 now - no leaks, no grinds overflowing, no clogs. Coffee is always tasty and predictable. It works quickly! It’s just perfect, even if we only ever used it for pods I would prefer it over a keurig. The only thing is that I was annoyed the “frother” is just a whisk and not a steamer, but whatever - it’s for decoration at this point. So yeah, 14-15 months and counting with zero issues and that’s a rarity, so give it a shot!!

Just what we wanted
Absolutely love it. Had a Ninja coffee bar similar to this that last 7 years and probably would have lasted longer if I had cleaned it more regularly. This one has a smaller foot print and has the added joy of doing k-cups. Brews quickly and the metal karaf keeps the coffee hot for a few hours or long enough to drink my usual cups of coffee. The only issue I had was the scoop that came with it. It was a cheap knockoff scoop but the one from my previous Ninja was still good so used it instead.

Bought as a gift for my parents, they love it
I bought this for my parents for Christmas, as my mom hates K-cups and my dad prefers them for their convenience. Since this machine can do both options, and so extremely well and easily, this has been a great way for both my parents to have the coffee they prefer in the mornings. I don't really think they use the rest of the features built in, but my mom says that she "loves the idea" of making iced coffee and tea with it, I'll call that a glowing review. Speaking from MY experience, I drink fresh-ground, fresh-roasted coffee, and this coffee pot CAN rival a pourover in quality if the coffee is ground to fit its brew style. Definitely worth the high price point, especially if you've got a diverse set of coffee drinkers like my family.

Question whether this was tested after refurbishing
This was a refurbished purchase and unfortunately it didn't make consistent brews, not even close. On the 8 oz setting and 4 tries, I got 2 oz, 7 oz, 5 oz and 4 oz. Returning this one, but I love the design of this coffee maker. Very close to the Ninja that I've had for almost 10 years. I've ordered the same coffee maker, but this time, I'm buying a new one. Fingers crossed. Update - received a brand-new Ninja, same make and model, and it works the same. I tested all settings without any coffee in the coffee maker. Over ice setting shows 8 oz on the dial but only delivers between 4 to 5 oz of liquid. I can only presume that is because it is over ice and the assumption is you'll end up with about 8 oz of liquid as the ice melts. All other settings deliver amount of liquid as shown on the dial. The refurbished that I sent back might have been ok also had I known, or had the booklet mentioned how the over ice setting works. Still, love the coffee maker and will be keeping the new one.

Great, until
Well, this coffee maker worked pretty great, until 2 weeks ago. (So about 10 months) It stopped brewing the pods, and today it wouldn't make a full pot of coffee. I tried the hot water feature ( which was a huge selling point for me) and it took 2 rounds, set at 10 ounces to get about 8 oz of hot water. Too bad, cuz we really liked this machine. Will look elsewhere for a replacement. I don't think 10 months is long enough!

Best. Coffee pot. Ever.
I have never loved any other coffee pot. Had another Ninja for a couple of years until a power surge killed it. Switched to this one and we love it. Never had coffee taste so good with a home coffee pot. I love the different settings and the hot water option which is perfect for hot cocoa. And of course the frother is the cherry on top!

Good machine, no manual provided
Good, but complex, coffee maker. The carafe allows the coffee to get cold almost immediately. No manual came with the machine. They instead, only provided a QR code that pointed to a website that didn't have a manual for this machine.

UPDATED: I missed seeing the little fold down shelf at the front for single serve kcup brewing. Using that completely eliminated the splatter, so I upped the rating to 5 stars. Really remarkably well made machine. Highly recommend. So I purchased the dual brew in October and from the start I was having issues that so many have cited that the machine kept saying "add water" despite the reservoir being full. I kept adjusting the tank on the side and trying over and over and finally got frustrated enough to call Ninja and they took my serial number and information and shipped me a replacement base within a couple of days. Was pleasantly surprised that they were willing to help me resolve my frustrations within a single phone call. Now as for the machine itself, it's fantastic. It honestly brews the best k-cup coffee I've ever had with any number of keurig-based devices (and I've owned brand name Keurig and Cuisinart and a number of other $$$ machines). The coffee is rich and flavourful, which made me realize I had been drinking watery coffee for years with the other machines. I love that you can choose between making a full pot of coffee (makes about 4 cups in the carafe and you'll need to buy a separate filter) or a single brew k-cup. The milk frother on the side works wonderfully and is easy to detach and put into your dishwasher to clean. You can also adjust a knob on the side to brew hot water only for tea. The device takes a bit to learn .. there's a lever on the bottom at the front that shuts off any flow of liquid and you toggle it left/right to brew and not brew. And the knob on the side toggles between kcup and carafe brew. It DOES sputter, there's coffee splatter all over and the reason why this system lost a star for me, but I'm hoping this is because I had a defective product. Otherwise it makes a really good cup of coffee. Visually, the machine is sleek and the operating functions give you so many choices -- from regular coffee to richer coffee (less water), to iced coffee setting. You can also rotate the reservoir from the side to sliding it around to the back to change the physical footprint of the coffee maker -- which is handy if you have limited counter space. Overall it's a great machine, and if you are having issues with "add water" I recommend calling Ninja directly, they honour their product which makes them a good company in my books.

Tuve que devolverla, fue una lástima por que es una cafetera muy linda. Solo sirvió la función de calentador de agua, pero la función de cafetera no

After purchasing, and discovering it is refurbished, I reviewed the text on the listing. At the end it has in brackets (renewed). This is misleading. It should clearly state it is a refurbished product.
