These chisels are made by a small tool manufacturer in the Czech Republic and are of exceptional quality. The blades are made from fine-grained, nicely tempered chrome-manganese steel and hardened to Rc 59. The blades take and hold an excellent edge. This is a Premium 12 piece set contains the following sizes: 3 mm (1/8 inch) 4 mm (3/16 inch), 6 mm (1/4 inch), 8 mm (5/16 inch), 10 mm (3/8 inch) 12 mm (1/2 inch), 16 mm (5/8 inch), 20 mm (11/16 inch) , 26 mm (1" 1/16 inch), 32 mm (1 1/4 inch), 40 mm (1 5/8 inch) and 50 mm (2 inch). Blade bevels are ground at a 25 degree angle. Blades are 4 1/2 inch inches to 6 1/2 inches long. Handles are lacquered European Beech and 4 1/2 inches to 5 1/4 inches long. Overall sizes range in length from 9 8 to 11 3/4 inches long. Blades have well seated steel tangs and handles have steel ferrules to withstand vigorous mallet work. As with all fine edge tools, they will need final sharpening/honing before use. These chisels are an excellent value in a good quality tool. They do not come in a retail box.
