But I liked the color and that it came with carpeting since ...
I was very scared of purchasing this because there were no reviews! But I liked the color and that it came with carpeting since my dog hates coldness from the wood. It really came as expected! My dog loves it and it’s the only way he gets up and down the bed now. I use it to get on the bed too haha. Since I do have wooden floors the stairs did slide a bit (that’s why you see a towel underneath the stairs in one of the pics) so I bought non slip sliders and put them under the stairs and they just stick right to the floor now, very stable. Now it’s perfect!

I can't imagine how these could be any better.
My rating is solely based on the product that I ordered. My pup is a mixed breed (Papillon, Pomeranian, and Miniature Pinscher). Imagine a chunky Chihuahua. She is about 16 pounds and the steps have not caved in yet. I feel like it could support my weight (around 165 pounds) but, not testing those waters quite yet. My bed has a frame, box spring, and mattress - it's relatively high off the ground. My pup's widdle weggies ("little legs" for those that do not speak tiny pup) can't reach from point a to point b. 45% of her average jumps have been successful. The remaining 55% render her on her back where she pauses like a turtle on its shell pondering the events that will now forever traumatize the remaining years of her life. Not anymore. After 1 day and a bag of treats, her successful jump rate has dropped to 0%. With the ease of walking up these steps, she has officially become too lazy to make the jump!I will update when she figures out how to properly go down the steps... She still just walks off like she is walking on air and drops... Like a cartoon. My only complaint, and it's not a complaint about the product itself at all, is that I couldn't find it in black. Not sure if it was because I couldn't find it or because it doesn't exist. I was aware of the colour before buying it and it is a pretty colour but, it just does not match the rest of the room - room is black. Again, I was aware before buying so nothing wrong with what arrived.I will update my review after she learns to go down the steps. Might be a while.Update:Fast forward 9 months from original purchase, she has learned how to walk down the steps. Mind you, it only took her a week to learn but, her proud parent was too thrilled with her and forgot to share it with the masses. Steps still work like a charm. She will never go into the hideaway (she gets a bit claustrophobic) so, we use it as a storage area for all of her things. Very handy!I thought the carpet would be a nuisance to clean but, really it isn't that bad at all - I have someone else do it. It's been months, I'm sure they would have said something if it had been a nuisance.Very happy with this purchase. Wish we would have taken the steps to getting these steps years ago.

Love them
These stairs are great, I had previously bought the B01LZDTDRJ Adjustable Pet Steps Espresso White Cat Dog Bed Car Step which is way more expensive than this and a lot more unstable. That one folds up and is adjustable but at the same time this made it susceptible to it falling. That’s not the case with this one. This one feels really sturdy, it was easy to put together, and the mats on the steps are removable which is great because my cat completely tore up the other stairs and these will be a breeze to clean. I also love the little compartment where he can just chill. My dog immediately started using these and they help her get on the bed easily which is the most important thing. They also look great!

Perfect solution for aging cat!
Perfect solution for my 16.5 year old kitty with arthritis and a weak hip to get on the bed. Fairly easy assemble with just a philips-head screwdriver. Seems very sturdy for your pet. The house is a bonus with a fitted cushion that has a removable cover. I must have looked at dozens of options and this buy was a great one!

Looks nice and is sturdy but broke during assembly
While my husband was putting this together, the bottom base supports on both sides, broke. Luckily, he is handy and fixed them but it doesn’t say much about the product when it breaks during assembly. Before that, I was very pleased with how it looked and how sturdy the overall product was. Given the price, those supports should be attached better or at the very least, reinforced to the side boards. So far, it’s holding up well with my 95 lb Pit/Dane mix dog using it daily to get up and down on our bed. Time will tell on the longevity.

Works great but a little pricey
Easy to put together and allows my dog to get up on my very high king bed. My dog is 80lbs and 5 year old walks up it as well and it doesn't seem to have a problem holding either of them. Dogs too large for the bed area but my cat gets in there some. Overall, satisfied with this purchase. However, I'm not sure the quality of the material however justifies the price. After feeling the materials,it's very light weight and is something I would expect to find for about half this price at a Big Lots or other cheap furniture place. I have my doubts this will last more than a year or two. The only other issue is the carpet is the perfect scratching post for a cat. If you have cats that scratch on things, they will definitely do it to the carpet on this thing.

Hope the seller would upgrade to heavier wood standing
I like the idea of having pets hide out underneath. It was easy to assemble and looks stylish. I just wish that the seller would have used bit more heavier bottom wood to prevent sliding (1-2”) when my mini poodle jumps up & down. Everything is great except that it skids/slide a little. Hope seller would upgrade to heavier wood standing.

These are quite sturdy, well made
Broken!!!! Supposed to hold 150lbs. Nope!!!! Broken by 120lb dog. Terribly disappointed!!!! I loved them but obviously should only be used for lightweight pets

Great stairs
Of all the pet stairs I’ve looked at online, these looked the sturdiest and most aesthetically pleasing. They are the perfect height for my dogs to get on my bed. It doesn’t shift or move when thy are on it and the treads help them grip. The cute little bed inside would have been perfect for my cats when I had them too. I recommend these, well worth the price!

Nice but a piece was broken on arrival.
The product is nice but one of the thinner pieces of wood that goes between the stairs had a slit in it, in other words the corner of it was broken. No product should ever be broken like that, it compromises the sturdiness of the entire thing. Thank goodness I was able to fix it by replacing it with my own stuff. Do people not inspect the pieces before sending them out?

3-Legged Loves the Stairs!
UPDATE: My 3-legged dog has done really well with these stairs. He uses them all the time to get on and off the bed.Pretty easy to put together. Extremely sturdy and quite heavy. My dog will need something sturdy to get on and off the furniture for after he has his leg amputated. I also like that the steps are carpeted using very strong velcro - it’s essential that they’re not slippery for him going up and down with only 3 legs. I’m already teaching him how to use the stairs and he’s doing quite well. I think they’ll do quite nicely for when he becomes a 3-legged dog.

Not all components work
Only the wooded portions of the steps could be assembled. All the coloured board portions immediately fell out however they are not really necessary for the steps to function.
