Clear image quality for a 1080p camera
I was excited to try this camera, but unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations. With the original price tag of $299, I thought I'd get a 4K camera, but it's actually 1080p – a significant downgrade. The camera does have some nice features, like connectivity options, and the image quality can be crisp when properly adjusted. However, I was disappointed to find that it lacks auto-tracking, a feature that's been standard in many cameras for over a decade. As a camera operator and YouTube creator, I compared it to my webcam, which is 2K and cost a fraction of the price. This camera performs similarly, but given the price difference, I expected more. Unless you're looking for specific features not mentioned, you might find better options elsewhere. If the price were significant;y lowered I would raise it to 4 stars

Pretty good camera quality, but no auto-tracking!
I used this camera for meetings in a conference room. The picture quality was pretty solid at 1080p; however, it did not have auto-tracking, so if someone was to move around in the meeting, I would have to make manual adjustments. I really expected it to have this feature, especially at this price point. Other than that, it produced consistent quality over long meetings without any issues. It connected through HDMI and USB. Overall, the camera seemed expensive for the price and the features.

Good quality, definitely for professional use
This is a very high quality camera. The motors are smooth and quiet. The optical zoom is fantastic, and the images are clear. The remote is a little more hit and miss. Some of the buttons don't work, and are listed as such in the manual. However, some that are supposed to work (like backlight correction), do not. You can turn it on an off in the OSD menu, but the button on the remote does nothing. As another reviewer mentioned, it's a shame this doesn't do tracking on its own. However, it is a "dumb" camera. It is designed to be controlled through its VISCA port; that is how you would set up tracking, etc. It's beyond my capabilities to set up, but the way I'm using it I don't really need tracking, so it's Ok. It's worth noting that the 4K verison of this camera from the same company doesn't seem to cost that much more. While the picture is very good, unless you need to restrict your image to 1080p for bandwidth reasons, I would seriously look at the higher model. Again, though, the picture is remarkably clear. The large lens and optical zoom make a huge difference compared to a regular webcam (even high quality ones). The remote is pretty easy to use (minus the buttons that don't work). However, I'm pretty disappointed that in the box for a $300 camera they couldn't be bothered to put 2 AAA batteries. I had to go hunt for some. Overall, it's a great camera, just be aware it really is for professional use.

Disappointing.
This camera is great on connectivity options, has a nice remote, decent lenses and good servos with self-calibration. So, I have to give it 3 stars just for that. But what it doesn't have is simply unacceptable - no auto-tracking. Shocking, frankly, considering that today's cheap $15 security cams have auto-tracking features. How is such an omission passable on a $300 camera is beyond me.
