Lo usé para ver anime viejito en una tv antigua desde mi laptop y funciona bastante bien. Cómo recomendación, si lo van a usar de la misma forma cambien la resolución de su PC a 480p

It works. Only needed to try a few settings and the old RCA tube screen came back to life connected to the new Rogers Ignite style set-top boxes. No qualms!

Though the box it came in is marked as NTSC and the model number, inside there's no hint to what type it is. Unfortunately it is stuck in PAL mode, though it's supposed to work both signals . The Mode switch which is not label as such , but as CATV/TV/AU, which is confusing, only shows from C1-C4 and AU. spent hours playing with it to no avail. Furthermore when I set it to channel 57 in C4 it displayed on one TV channel 14 and in another 65, which makes no sense. Under C4 Channel 57 the video shows, but is incompatible with NTSC and only shows very bright black and white video. If I adjust the video bright to lower, then the picture disappeared. Could not contact seller for instructions and then I returned it. Either the Mode switch is defective or the wrong item was placed in the box.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I got this converter to hook stuff up to an old TV I had acquired with RF only input. I got it all hooked up, and when I plugged my laptop into it, the signal was awful. No matter how much I tried, I just couldn’t get it to output clear video with HDMI input. It did work perfectly when I used composite video with a SNES, I don’t have a picture but it did work. The main point is that I got it hoping I could connect modern things to an old TV, and it didn’t do that at all.
