Great for hydration
Very good quality. I give to my baby (3 day old and older) chicks as well as my older/oldest to 8 year old chickens. I mix this in the baby chicks water every other day for a year. The ones over a year get it every day in hot weather as they are outside and in extreme weather changes year round. It keeps them hydrated and well.

Good to keep on hand!
I have some of both probiotic and electrolyte versions of save a chick for emergencies and they have come in handy for some of my babies! I only do half a packet to 1 gallon of water or I do what the instructions say and do half of the medicated water to half normal water in the chick waterer

Baby chicks
Our chicks got a little sick my sister who is going to school to be a vet told us about this and wow! The chicks love the taste, they were more active and lively so I believe the health benefits truly worked. Very effective and easy to use

I always buy these for my new baby chicks. It boost their immune system and gives them the best chance to live. I also buy them 20% medicated chick starter. I use it in all of their water for the first 2 weeks then 1 pk a week after that until they go to big coop.

Good probiotics
The powder is easy to mix into their water or feed, and it's clear that it's helping them develop a strong gut microbiome. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that I wish the packaging was a bit more convenient for smaller batches. However, the benefits to my chicks' health and well-being far outweigh this minor inconvenience. The price is also very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the product.
