Excellent camera — easy setup, great image quality, and truly wireless
I’m very happy with this camera. The installation was quick and straightforward, and the app is easy to use. The 2K image quality is very clear both during the day and at night, and motion detection works reliably with instant notifications. The solar panel keeps the battery charged without any issues, so I don’t have to worry about removing the camera to recharge it. This makes it perfect for outdoor use where running power cables is not convenient. The Wi-Fi connection has been stable, live view loads quickly, and the camera has been working consistently without disconnects or glitches. Overall, this is an excellent value for the price and a great solution if you want a truly wireless outdoor security camera.

Simple and Quality!
Needed some camera where using a solar cell for power and recharging was not practical, and these camera really fit the need. Easy to set up. Good clarity. Long battery life. All good!

Easy setup. Battery lasts. Great for the price!
Good little cameras! Super easy to set up. I’ve had them about 6 months now and I’ve only charged them once for 3 of them and twice for one of them (it gets more motion). They’ve lasted through storms and the hottest parts of the summer. I’ll be buying a couple more.

Decent camera, but no remote features
As others have noted, no useful method for saving or viewing remotely. Purely a local camera. At that, it's fine. Good quality image and the battery life seems adequate at this early stage of use. The app is a bit difficult to use - small light fonts on off-white background doesn't make for crisp viewing. Setup was easy following the basic prompts and it connected to wifi easily and quickly. The "tease" of free cloud storage is irritating and should be removed. If you just want to monitor and alert on an area within your wifi range, it's fine. But I prefer others, such as Reolink, that can send alerts and be monitored via the internet. UPDATE: I may have misspoken. The alerts income to my phone even when not on the same network. You can then connect to the camera via the app. It does take a minute to connect, so you might miss an event, but should be able to play it back from the SD card.

Overall Great Versatile Camera
So far the two cameras work very well. The quality of the videos and pictures are very good. Zoom is great for what we need. I’ve included videos using the zoom. Also, my cameras are inside on window frame and yes I have screens on my windows. This was to show you from a security standpoint. If no screen, the pictures are extremely amazing. Options are easy to use and turn off and on. The camera(s) use a micro sd card. Instructions are easy to follow as well. If you follow directions accordingly, within the app, it will format the sd card before it can be used. That that was really neat. Alarm, light can also be turned off. If off, then the motion sensor will not alert/notify of motion detection. That’s the only downside to this product. For us that’s okay because we are using it to capture footage of suspicious activity without alarming and need cameras to be mobile (not stationary). Cameras do exactly what we need them for. Night vision also is great. Overall great quality for what you are paying for and the price!!!!!

Performs but Solar is not functional
I will state the pros of this system first followed by the one big flaw I can not look over the other way. This system is easy to install and operates well with everything you need to get started, including a solar panel for charging the camera's battery. One of the best things about this security camera system is its ease of use. The cameras are wireless, which means you don't have to worry about running cables or drilling holes in your walls. The cameras capture up to 720ppi footage, even in low-light conditions. You can access the footage from anywhere using the ieGeek app, which is easy to set up and use. However, the solar panel is supposed to make it easy to keep the camera's battery charged, so you don't have to worry about replacing batteries or plugging the camera in to charge, and the only problem is it doesn't. The battery is not keeping your camera going for very long, 2 weeks tops. Although the camera shows charging on your phone, it would go dead very shortly. I tried to tilt the panels at different angles and didn't seem to fix it. I think the solar panel is not capable to produce enough juice to keep the camera going, which defeats the purpose of having the solar panel set up. Very frustrating. It might be a rare issue given it didn't come across to me in the comments when I was purchasing it but is a very real problem for me, and I live in California the sunshine state. To sum it up, the ieGeek Solar Security Cameras Wireless Outdoor with Solar Panel is generally a good choice for its easy-to-use features and affordable pricing. BUT, the solar panel is nowhere near decent in my opinion. So, get one without the solar panel and place it near the outdoor outlet to power it.

Ok for the price, great for the peace of mind
I have had this camera up for almost a month now. I live in a city right next to a street that gets a lot of traffic and pedestrians. There is tons of crime at my apartment complex, and before getting this camera I didn’t get a solid night of sleep for the past three years. I gave it four stars for the peace of mind it gives me and for the sleep I’m now able to get at night. I would say for me functionally it would get three stars. My reasons being that if you live in a very busy area, or have lots of foliage in your cameras view, it will go off a lot. I personally am not great with technology and it was fairly easy to set up, but I have to adjust the sensitivity a lot, especially on windy days when the shadows from trees set it off. This camera is not perfect, but it works good enough for me, especially for the price. I will also say that sometimes it doesn’t pick up the human movement immediately so you only get video of them walking out of the frame. Also it only does recording for 6seconds. I’m not paying for a subscription with this and there are more options if you do but without it it’s fine. I have not bought an SD card yet for it. I love the alarm and light at night. The alarm is not nearly as loud as I thought it would be based on other reviews but it’s loud enough that it really catches people’s attention. As far as battery life, I would highly recommend getting the little solar panel for it. Before I put up the solar panel I had to take the camera down every day for 3-4 hours to charge it. Again, I live in a high traffic area, day and night, because of the crime that happens here at my apartment complex. So the battery got drained fast. The audio of the videos is not great but for me that’s ok because I care more about video. The connection to my wifi is great, and I love having the app to control it when I’m not at home and to get alerted to any activity. Overall, it may not be the best but this is my first experience with a security camera and it meets my basic needs.
