Of the rings I have had, this definitely falls on the better side of them. I started with Anker, but their durability was not great. They eventually broke when dropped ( that’s not weird, just this one is tougher. my rings get a lot of abuse ). This is my 3rd syncwire (actually might be more). They have more features than the Anker: double sided magnets so the phone will magnetize to gym racks or any other magnetic metal. It’s thinner so more pocket friendly. The rotation aspect is a clicking bearing. So the ring doesn’t rotate willy nilly. It “resists”. The anker could sometimes be “twirled”. This one has much more stability. The clickiness could be a plus or a minus from a sensory perspective. But it’s a double plus for me. Better functionality and lovely experience. All the ones I have are still working. I bought more for more devices and more styles. Even some wireless chargers can sometimes connect through it. But mostly, you need to remove it for wireless changing.Complaint? There is a ridge on the ring for which the intent is to make it easier to open the ring. I find it’s still a challenge to do one handed. The anker was not, but part of that is it was bigger *and* looser, so it basically could “fall open”. If they adjusted the ring to make it easier/reliable to one handed open even while wearing gloves, I am not sure there would be a new flaw I could identify.This one is well done. My wife just got the pink one. Cause, pink. My new phone is black, so I got the black one. The leftover ones are going to the kids.

Almost perfect! I will preface this review by stating that I have one of the heavier phones on the market and I have a leather case on it which is also heavier than most cases on the market. So take my review for what it’s worth.The magnets are fairly strong and the gear mechanism is solid. The ring spins 360 degrees and extends up to 90 degrees. It is quite stiff which helps it to stay in the position it’s put in when placing your phone in a viewing position such as landscape, for example.Occasionally the ring pops off the back of my phone when sitting it on something with strong ferrous properties such as steel. Yes, this ring has magnets that attach to your phone (MagSafe) as well as magnets that allow you to hang it on ferrous surfaces.Aside from those small nuances, this is a great addition to my phone and it makes it considerably easier to hold onto larger phones while completing tasks and most importantly helps prevent accidental drops.

Simple, strong enough - I wouldn’t like use it to photograph Niagara Falls over the rail, before the Mounties drag your tourist behind back over the fence and smack you with a ticket.Don’t you dare waggle your pointer finger at them either, when your phone disconnects from the magnet and it dings a passenger on Maid of the Mist. I mean, finger wagging is hate speech up north of the border these days I hear tell.Besides, we don’t need a 51st state, we already have Puerto Rico for the most part and apparently maybe Greenland if the price is right.If nothing else, we should invade Canada strictly for the beers. Their maple syrup can’t hold a candle to Massachusetts, Vermont and Nee Hampshire - Maine too, when they’re not guzzling Moxie.Just use this magic ring kickstand for watching movies with your phone perched on your belly, when Xfinity craps the bed again. This is a 5-star magnet all day!

The jury is out on how it'll hold up long term, but I find the item has a decent magnetic grip on my Tudia case for the OnePlus 13. It feels strong enough for daily use, the ring acts as a kickstand and I like being able to rotate the ring for comfort when using it to hold the phone. The color was also perfect for the case I'm using.The grip magnet is weaker than my car mount FYI. I've noticed the phone pulls away from the grip first and leaves it behind on the car mount; but I usually just remove the grip first and reapply, once I arrive at my destination.For the look, I would probably order again or perhaps try their model with a second inner ring that gives more viewing options for the kickstand. Overall the build seems solid and it works well.

I bought this for my husband‘s phone not realizing that the silver ring part of it rotates. What a fantastic thing! My husband is left-handed and I’m right handed - when he hand me his phone to look at something I can just rotate that in her ring and hold it in a way that works for a Wright as opposed to a lefty. Genius! It’s built solidly. I got him the black one to match his plain black case and you can’t tell that the two didn’t come together. The size is equivalent to the ones I buy from a well-known brand for myself. The magnet is very strong and does not fall off unintentionally, but is not hard to take off if you want it. I’ll definitely buy these again and again.

I wanted to love this so much! I honestly did! And there are a TON of awesome qualities about this magnetic ring! It’s very sturdy, lightweight, not too bulky to fit in my pocket. The magnet works fantastic on the back of my phone case (my case has a magnetic ring adhered to the backside). I also don’t have to remove this ring when I mount my phone to my magnetic car mount which was a HUGE plus for me because that’s exactly what I was looking for! The magnets are STRONG and I feel VERY confident that my phone won’t fall while I’m driving! It takes a bit of force to pull my phone off (that’s how strong the magnet is) but I’d rather it be secure! The inner ring is made well also, I can comfortably hold my phone while using it without worrying about it breaking or getting loose.The bad, and the reason for my 3 stars is completely cosmetic. The rubber material along the outer ring is starting to wear off, and I’ve only had this ring for less than a week!!! I could understand if it was months of rugged use, but we’re talking DAYS! Poor quality design choice there and if it wasn’t for that, I’d have given this product 5 stars a million times over!
