I have a traditional bacon press (rectangular and bigger) however I needed something for my smaller pan especially when I’m cooking things like pork chops and I want a good sear on my meat. This has a nice weight to it, ease to use and easy to clean, and gets the job done. I use it often and have even used it to smash a burger. Absolutely love this!

This item works great! The press helps reduce cooking time & creates a wonderful sear on food. The size is perfect. The weight gives this item just enough heft to increase the searing process. No installation required. The wooden handle prevents the item from heating up while in the pan. The cast iron & wood is extremely durable. It feels comfortable in the hand. And it's easy to clean.

Works as advertised. I wish it was a little smaller and didn’t have the ridges. But that’s on me I guess. Nice and heavy though. Easy to clean

One of the best price I ve found, it is grooved surface, if you are planning to make smash burgers you should buy a flat bottom not grooved

Already rusty

This burger press is FANTASTIC! It weighs a full KG and is the perfect size for burgers, grilled sandwiches or steak. Much better than my Cuisinart burger press. It is larger and is doube the weight.

I got a blackstone and had to buy this to make smash burgers. It is super heavy and good cast iron. I use parchment on the meat so no clean up! I have also used this to make toasted sandwiches and smashed potato’s on the blackstone
