Birds have never been as healthy, vibrant!
I purchased this due to one of our green cheek conures' catastrophic beak injury. Initially, she didn't want to eat (She was in so much pain!), but she really loved this stuff! Now, approx 2 months later, I've actually begun to offer to ALL of our GCCs now, and it seems to be making their feathers incredibly healthy-looking! I would recommend this supplement to anyone who has an ill birdy, or one with fussy food preferences. It's actually on monthly auto-order, they like it so much!

Not for macaws. Amount to small. NO REFUND
When I asked for parrot formula, I expected a larger quantity. I didn't mark down for that. Its on me for not verifying quantity. Directions are awful!!! Mix with warm water, solids should be 25%. Wth? I doubt this is returnable but Im looking into it after this review.

Baby bird formula
This is good baby bird formula. It mixes nicely and is easy for them to digest when they are so little or weak.

General Recovery is a must-have!
Psittacus is made to very stringent EU standards, and is all non-GMO. Of all the available natural colored pellets (because I won't feed artificially colored pellets) available in the US, Psittacus as a brand has the most Vitamin A and beta carotene of any pellet brand; most parrots in captivity are Vitamin A deficient, and beta carotene is converted to Vitamin A in the bird's body. Yes, there is soy in it. There is also soy in every single other pellet and supplemental food on the market too (Harrison's, Kaytee, Pretty Bird, Mazuri, Roudybush, Zupreem, HIggins, Lafeber, and Hari). At least with Psittacus it is non-GMO. If you aren't familiar with the EU food laws, you should check them out. Far more stringent that in the US, and even more than Canada's. All the food is made in Spain, where Psittacus has been leading nutrition in Europe too (and I compared European pellet composition too!), and shipped to the US. The jar is super thick, durable and easy to open. I have a large number of adult rescue birds who have arrived in poor health, weight, and with bad nutrition on top of it all. They are all in lovely feather, with healthy skin/beaks/nails, and Psittacus is a definite factor in their improved health; General Recovery is great for ailing, thin, or older birds that need a little help. It mixes smooth, or you can dust it on chop or damp foods to add a boost. I always keep a couple containers of this on hand! My avian veterinarians love Psittacus. I trust my beloved flock to Psittacus, and I have seen the results over the past year I have been feeding it. My birds like it, they look great, their lab work is great, and they don't waste it. My review won't show up as a verified purchase because I buy direct normally through Psittacus USA where the entire product line is available.

Too small
It’s such a tiny little bottle, for a medium sized bird it won’t last for more than a week if the bird rely on liquid food for recovery or treatment
