How many do you get? Only one can for $7.49???

Trader Joes's sells jackfruit in brine for $1.99/can.

What color is it? When I opened the can it was pinkish.

Its been awhile since I used it. It really didn't have much of a color at all, as I recall. It didn't really have much of a flavor either- it pretty much absorbed the flavors that you cooked with it. I made Asian tacos- they were pretty good, and if you shred the jackfruit, it does look alot like shredded meat. The main thing for me is that you look at the nutritional content of the product, it really doesn't have much in the way of protein, or much else either. Its not a bad product- but I don't think that I will buy it any time soon. Just my personal take on it, of course.

Is this only one can or a pack

One overpriced can. I get them now at my local Asian market for $1.20.
