2 Wire Switch Controlled Motor Electric Roller Motor Hard Wired 12V DC Motors for RV Electric Roller Shade, Working for 1-3/16" Roller Tube

My home is 15 years old and has automated roller blinds. Last week one of the blinds failed and when I removed the motor in the tube is was cracked and no longer functional. I needed a hard wired 12v solution and I believe the 1.5" is your typical size for homes. The kit that came was perfect, installed easily. The instructions highlight programming and not assembly. I had to study the pictures on the Amazon posting to realize the one rubber sleeve needed to be installed to slide down next to the motor so it holds the motor in the larger tube. The other end (opposite end of the motor) takes the other rubber piece. Programming is possible if you do not have a hard switch, I did it with the automation system but was a bit tricky with the timing. Total time for installation was about an hour mostly spent on the programming to get it perfect stop points.

Perfect replacement for my MCD shade in my motorhome. I have a long one that goes all the way across the windshield. It doesn't have the second set point with the key on, but that is really not needed, you just bring it down as needed. Simple 2 wire hookup.

I have had 5 of these installed for 4 years now. 2 have now failed, and when I try to order additional none of them pair correctly not sure if they have changed. They just beep and do nothing.

I replaced six roller shade motors in our motorcoach with the bad boys. In the two months since then they've worked flawlessly! The programming instructions do suck, I wish these companies would find a FLUENT english translator when developing the instructions instead of using A I.

This was used to create a retrofit/DIY automated rollershade. The roller works well and is quiet. There is a short beep (not too loud) when the roller is activated. The roller has stop and start positions that can be programmed. These seems to come with a pre-set default roll distance of about 12", so you'll need to reset that - don't assume its defective if it only rolls a short distance. There are no brackets included, you will need to purchase those to mount this. The motor has a 7mm slot in it to mount on a bracket, but most brackets, including the ones from Rollerhouse on Amazon are 10mm (so -1/2 star :-). You can use a Dremel to cut down the bracket to fit into the rollerhead if all you can find are the 10mm brackets.The rollerhouse support team was very helpful determining the motor size for my application. They even helped me locate the correct brackets. When I create another set of automated shades, I'll use this again.

These were perfect replacement for my MCD Roller Shades, tired of shades working part time and just beeping at you, try these. 100 bucks for two motors or 700 bucks for new shades, no brainer.
