Solved signal problem over a long cable
I installed a TV antenna for two TVs, and noticed that the one nearest to the antenna was detecting more channels than the other one. Being the only difference the cables distance (the longer one was traveling from the house front side all the way to the back, should be at least some 50'), I looked for an amplifier and got this one. Once installed, both TVs now show the same channels and with good quality. A quick detail to anyone considering this device: the power adapter connects to the splitter/amplifier using a coaxial cable, so consider how it might be from the nearest outlet and be sure to get a suitable cable to connect it.

Kinda helps
My upstair's TV's picture seems to have stabilized some, but there are still lapses- was hoping this would bolster it more. Is still more effective than a previous one I tried.

Nice booster: Cleared up low signal and added more channels!
I can't speak to the longevity of this product as I just installed it. It works well. I have an attic antenna, the shorter line got an okay signal, the longer line was moderate, bad weather would impact the ability to watch some channels. I just hooked it up and my tv is now showing an extra "bar" of signal on those weak channels and I received about 10ish channels I didn't know existed until today. I would recommend this product if you're on the fringe of getting signals / have to boost a longer split run.Note: you will need a bit of coax to run power to the splitter from wherever you have it plugged in. It is not included

Did what an RF amplifier should do.
The best you can hope for in an RF amplifier is that it will make marginal signals strong. This product does this quite well. Having worked for ten years at Radio Shack back in the day, I'm impressed!
