Little Tikes Turtle Sandbox, for Boys and Girls Ages 1-6 Years

I have always wanted to get my son this traditional sandbox. We bought this for him and used 3 bags of sand to fill it up. It's great being plastic to withstand weather which it sits in the backyard however it's not fully waterproof. Usually after a storm, the sand is wet inside but my 1 year old son doesn't mind! It hasn't faded in color and so far is so good.

Kiddos absolutely love this sandbox. Great bang for your buck. Can fit 2 toddlers in it comfortably but a little small. We use it in our garage so we don’t have to worry about rain. The lid is screwed together so I don’t know how well that would keep water out. Sand also falls out through the bottom of the turtle where it comes together so that’s a little frustrating. My kids love it though.

Put the thing together, halfway through I realize we are missing the bottom piece of the turtles mouth. Not significant for active play but I mean, the turtle sandbox is now headless, sooooo. It's already together, I don't want to take it apart to return it for a little piece. Was hoping I'd be able to talk to the seller and get the piece sent to me but that wasn't even an option. Just return or go f myself. Got it. Still works good but the lid is supposed to strap down to the turtles head that I don't have so now I'm off to the backyard in hopes I got a couple decent rocks for security.

Was super excited to get this for my kiddo, but unfortunately the design of this sandbox did not allow the pieces to fit together and it was a little harder to put together than it should have been. Also, it is very small... the four "seats" don't make a lot of sense to me as maybe two kids can play in it and have just enough room. At the end of the day, it holds the sand and allows a kid to play in it. The lid did not fit on very securely either.

This sandbox is great for toddlers, even when they climb on it, it doesn’t collapse. It does keep rain out so the sand stays dry and doesn’t fly off with wind.

Great to keep sand in one place and has lid to keep sand clean.

3-year-old granddaughter loves it you will need 3- 50 lb bags of sand buy an extra one they love to make a mess

Happy with product but more challenging to assemble than expected. Be certain to watch YouTube before you start. Directions are not great and I am handy with such projects. Be sure you have a long Phillips screwdriver preferably with magnetic end.
