Needed ability to make permanent connections for monitor, accessory plugin is fine, but wanted a cleaner permanent option. This fit the bill. Pretty standard connection, will work with other devices too, but use caution the capacity is limited due to approx 22 gauge wire.

The original power cable that came with my backup camera was impossible to connect to my backup camera. So, I got this power cable. Why did I pick it? 1. The wires were individually sheathed. So if I needed 1 inch or 8 inches of lead wire to connect to, I could split the two wires apart. 2. The wires were the proper gauge. 3. The wires were pre-stripped. Ok that was just a bonus.Everything matched up perfectly and once I had this non-frustrating wire it took just a second to hook it up and connect it to the backup camera. Everything is working. But, I didn't need 8.2 feet. I could have cut it back to half that length, because again the two wires are individually sheathed. But, I did not trim it.

This larger size wire definitely should've been included in my aftermarket backup camera kit! It shouldn't be a pain to connect the positive and negative wires with your setup. The original wires were way too small! These wires got the job done and have me feeling more confident in the wire setup. I only needed one, but it doesn't hurt to have an extra one. Thanks!

Longer than you could ever need, and good size wire. Much better than what is included with aftermarket cameras! Be sure to get this if you're putting one in yourself

I Had a Double Din Head Unit that Came With a Backup Camera and the Power Cable, That This Product Replaces, Is Much Better For 1 Very Important Reason --> Wire Lead Size. The Ones That Come With No Name Radios Barely Fit in a Wire Stripper Let Alone Make a Solid Electrical Connection. Please Save the Headache and Heed my Warning

This was a great purchase for my Honda Fit 2008 backup camera which came with a 2 - 3 foot wire. I was able to pull the power wire and RCA cable through the gasket in my hatchback with fish tape and spare speaker wire. I highly recommend it.

I used this to hard wire a backup camera. The unit only came with a cigarette lighter power cord, and I didn't want a wire mess laying around. I only needed about a foot, oh well, now I have a bunch of 18 ga. wire!

Exactly as pictured. Received 2 as pictured. They are very long great for any car. Probably double the size of a regular standard one.
