Absolutely adorable kit! Comes with everything you need although I did use my own crochet hook - the one that comes with it is fine, but I prefer my Tulup Etimo Red 3.25mm. I did do a Woobles before this kit and used some of the videos/instructions from them to make my Magic Ring and how to chain and turn. I found this Mini kit very easy for my second ever crochet project. The printed instruction sheet is very easy to follow. I would recommend the W ones for a first project and these as a perfect project afterward. Priced right, very cute, quality materials and I love the tin. The beginner yarn is so nice to work with and this is the first time crocheting has ever stuck for me, I think mostly because of the yarn. Love the sparkle disc that goes behind the large, colored eyes. Just adds some extra cuteness beyond basic black ones included most other kits. Going to buy one for my 13 year old who also just learned how to crochet. Great for both adults and kids. I also printed out the Basic Crochet for beginners guide from the website and have been using it as a reference and it is very helpful!

This is a great kit and the price is incredible compared to a big brand kit. ($40 for a kit is absolutely ridiculous) I am an experienced crocheter of 10 years and have done amigurumi projects before. I personally dont care for the tube yarn found in these kits but I do understand they may help beginners see their stitches better. However I would argue that there is softer yarns that have great stitch definition for beginners to see. This isn't anything against the kit just a preference of material. The kit is super cute and comes with almost everything you need. (You need scissors.) I of course didnt use the video tutorials but there are plenty throughout the pattern for those who need it. The pattern itself was easy to follow and pretty simple. Mine came out a little wonky due to not stuffing the head enough but the end result was still cute. I would definitely recommend this kit if you are interested or if you want to gift to some one wanting to learn the craft. I also had some left over yarn of all colors so there should be plenty to make at least one of the pattern with some left over. Also left of stuffing.

Fun little kit. It's well made with reasonable/clear instructions. It only took about 60-90 mins to make (I crochet daily, and am quick at my work according to others). The only thing not included in this little tin are nippers or scissors, so pack those if you're planning on taking this on a road trip. You have an option of swapping out the eye color blue or silver, we kept the blue eyes. I would have preferred a bent tapestry needle for sewing, but it's a personal preference and the metal needle is a nice quality. The 3mm hook is comfortable, and works well with this type of yarn, I personally prefer a different hook head(Bates inline vs the Boyle hook head in this kit) but it was a good option in the kit and has a nice silicone type grip handle, which helps with hand fatigue. It's not the absolute best, but it's very good. There was ample yarn for making this toy, it feels nice and my child loves how it's turned out! We opted for the stomach to not have the belly patch on it as it looked adorable without that additional piece that I had already crochet. If you're looking for a cute kit that's well made and are able to use only a QR code download of the instructions to either save and or print off, (and or use the video instructions) this is a nice option. We also have the turtle and leopard kit as well as we got them buy three for the price of two deal.

I am not a beginner at crocheting but I am a beginner at amigurumi. After viewing many beginner amigurumi tutorials on YouTube and failing to complete a project I was ready to give up until I saw a cute little tin with a turtle on it on the top and thought I would try again. I received the tin which has everything that you need to create. The tutorial is very good. It takes you step by step throughout the whole project. I even learned how to make the magic circle! I have purchased more of these little tins and created many cute little characters. The tins also make great storage!

This is the best crochet kit ever! The instructions are great! It's the cutest amigurumi project ever! I love it! The instructions have a cute smile on the squid and there was yarn for it, but I just left mine without. It's a great gift!

Cute kit that comes with everything you need. But hands-down, not easy or beginner. Videos provided don’t do a good job explaining. Had to search on YouTube for better options. Everything that comes with the kit is quality. Having the container it comes in for storage is great. Just do not purchase this thinking it will be easy or a beginner choice.

Das Häkelset ist wirklich toll. Es hat alles was man braucht um direkt loszulegen! Leider ist die Anleitung auf englisch, allerdings ist es mir durch das Video-Tutorial gelungen, ein super Plüschi zu häkeln als total blutiger Anfänger, ohne jegliche vorherige Häkel-Erfahrung. Sie hat mir auch den Start in die Häkel-Welt deutlich erleichtert. Denn nun bin ich auch in der Lage Muster und Anleitungen aus dem Internet zu lesen. Das wird nicht meine letzte Cookie Box sein!

Kit perfetto!bellissimo kit per fare il mio primo amigurumi.Filato molto bello sia nei colori che nella resistenza,ottimo per chi come me è alle prime armi.Benissimo la possibilità di vedere attraverso il QR code i video e di poter regolare la velocità del video in modo da ripassare più volte quello che si è visto.urcinetto ergonomico molto comodo,occhi bellissimi e grandi che rendono il tartarughino adorabile. Se devo trovare una nota negativa è che tutto, il tutorial,il manuale da scaricare siano solo in inglese,ma cmq piano piano si capisce.Rispetto ad altri kit questo è molto bello semplice completo.

Es mi primer proyecto de croché y, aunque soy principiante, lo disfruté muchísimo. El kit incluye material suficiente para hacer el juguete, que queda muy bonito)) hay que tener en cuenta que las instrucciones están en inglés.

This kit was so much fun! I was looking for something simple and cute that wasn’t going to take too long to do. The instructions were so helpful and easy to follow - great to have both the video and printed version. Will totally buy another kit.

I was able to do this with my granddaughter and show her how to crochet. Clear instructions, easy to follow and and she loved it
