Integrated well with my SmartThings hub
Bought this Fibaro smart outlet to integrate with my SmartTings hub, so that I am able to monitor power usage of plugged-in devices and to remotely switch outlet on/off.I will also use the timer and automation functionality of this cool little outlet to trigger my coffee maker, ebike charger, and my super cool living room light that has a halogen bulb where I cannot add a smart bulb!Once connected, the unit displays power consumption of my plugged in items. See screenshot; it is apparently using 3.9W.Needed to install "smart handlers" for this to work with SmartThings, but was fairly easy after finding online instructions. You will need two, one for the plug, one to be able to use the integrated USB port.Love the design and form factor of the outlet.Would buy it again.

Works but does not have independent outlet control
Works well with SmartThings, but even with custom device handlers the unit only allows you to switch off the 110V outlet. The USB outlet only allows power monitoring but no control. Bummer.

easy way to control any plugged in lights around your house
Bought this smart plug from Fibaro last holiday season and it worked like a charm for all of our holiday lights. We used this smart plug last year to program our Christmas tree lights and we’ll never use another solution. Once the plug was paired with our Z-Wave hub, it was a breeze to set up an automation that turned on the tree lights on the schedule we wanted to avoid having them on during the day when no one is around or a night after everyone had gone to sleep. It helped save on our electricity bill as well because we were able to avoid having the lights on at all times. With the energy tracking, we were even able to see how much power the tree lights were drawing. To make things even easier, we integrated our hub with the Amazon Echo in our living room so we could use voice commands to turn the tree lights on or off which made for a fun holiday trick for guests unfamiliar with what smart home tech can do.Recommend picking one up if you have Z-Wave in your home and want an easy way to control any plugged in lights around your house.

Unreliable plug falls off the network periodically
Using this with Home Assistant and a Zooz Z-wave dongle I've found the plug to be unreliable. It will work for weeks, or days, then fall off the network.Sometimes I can ping it from the Z-Wave JS Control Panel and it will wake up. More often than not I have to unplug and replug it.The Z-Wave JS statistics show dropped commands and timeouts. I don’t have these issues with any other Z-Wave device. The plug is 32 feet from the Z-Wave dongle, much closer than many other devices I have that never have communication problems.Fibaro support has been responsive, but the plug just doesn’t work reliably. They say that it's defective, but I can't tell if it really is broken or just a poor design. It's taken so long to work through this with support (because of the long times between failures) that now it's outside of the return/replace window. Fortunately Amazon allowed me to get a refund. But at this stage I don't want to spend any more time on this and plan to replace this with a product from another vendor.

Once paired with my Samsung SmartThings, the Fibaro Wall Plug gives me remote control over my air conditioning unit.
The Fibaro Z-Wave Plug is a life saver in the summer time. I do not have central air conditioning but do have several in-window air conditioning units. With summer upon us, I’ve put in several of these AC units and connected them each to Fibaro Z-Wave Wall plugs. Once paired with my Samsung SmartThings, the Fibaro Wall Plug gives me remote control over my air conditioning unit so on days when it’s particularly hot, before I leave work I am able to turn on all my air conditioners right from my smartphone so my house is nice and cool by the time I arrive home for the evening.I can also use the Fibaro Wall plug to set a schedule for my air conditioners so that different parts of my house are called at specific times and ensure these air conditioners, which always run up my electricity bill, only turn on and then turn off when I want them to which helps me save money on my electricity in the summer. I might pick up a few more plugs so I can set rules that turn on plugged in room fans when the AC units turn on to help circulate the air.

If it worked with my system, I may rate it better
I could include it into my Nexia HA, but it just display Generic 1 and Generic 2 without any switch control. It would be nice if they defaulted to a basic switch for ZWave controllers that don't support the newest wiz-bang

15A ZWave Plus Power Meter Plug
I bought this 15A plug so I could tell when my dehumidifier in the basement stopped drawing power. I had a Dome Power Meter Plug on it, but it is only 13A and overloaded it. Shortly after I bought it the colored ring doesn't work anymore and I can not get it to turn off & on using the button. I would have turned off the color ring anyway because I do not need the light attracting spiders and I use Alexa or the smartthings app if I need to turn it off or on, which I rarely do. The dehumidifier is on ALL the time. It does have a nice feature that you can set the plug to stay OFF if there is a power failure.I am also using this as a ZWave Plus extender for a Fibaro Motion Sensor which I have on the side of my dryer to tell me when it stops vibrating.I am not using the USB port on the side. It shows up as it's own device in smartthings, but does not have any configuration. When I was reading about it, it says that the USB plug is always on.I am using a custom device handler for this device. If you go to the Fibaro website they will give you the link to github, which you then need to copy into the smartthings groovy IDE website. It is expensive. I would not buy these plugs to have around the house. Only to meet a specific need. I use the smaller Dome Power Metering plug which has a small range, but is cheaper, is 13A, but you can use the other outlet for something else.
