Unique, Flavorful Relish
Funny thing----the relish isn't cheap, so I rated it 3 stars as far as value. I gave the flavor 4 stars----teetering between 4 and 5, but I settled on 4. But overall score, I gave it 5 stars. How is that possible? Well, it's because I like choice. I like a lot of options. And I like the fact that this smaller, more independent company is coming strong with relish that I can't find in local supermarkets. It's worth a little more money to get access to unique, regional flavors. And the flavor is really good. Interesting, because it's sweet, but dill at the same time. I would like a little more cruch to it----the relish is very soft/saturated, so you don't get the little bit of pickle cruch that you might get with other pickle relishes. I averaged that into my flavor score. That said----this stuff is dynamite on hot dogs, really good. Love the emerald green color----it stands out. It's good enough to take a spoonful out of the jar and just enjoy it. Excellent quality, very consistent. I can see how people get addicted to this. And I believe this can probably be used in recipes----get creative with it. I will say----all things considered, I still like my Heinz India Style Relish. Again, supermarkets seem to avoid carrying it for some reason, or Heinz just doesn't produce enough of it. That India style relish is great on hot dogs, a staple ingredient in Sloppy Joes, and also has its own unique flavor. But this review is for the Vienna Chicago Relish, and I give it five stars. If you like relish, hot dogs, or both----get some of this stuff. If you see it on sale, buy a couple jars.

Sweet home Chicago
My wife, and her family, come from Chicago and they've eaten Chicago dogs for generations and the only relish they like is Vienna Chicago Style Relish. My wife has lived in Washington with me for 21 years so we've ordered this relish more times than I can remember but I do remember how fantastic it is. We love this vendor because we got our relish like the next day and in perfect condition. Count on us making many more purchases in the future. Thank you!

Perfect for Chicago-dogs
Excellent. true to its packaging. Just what I was looking for and could not find locally. Crucial for Chicago-dogs and is also a great addition to burghers.

Love this dark green relish!!
Somehow, this dark green relish is not readily available, as it once was, on our local grocery shelves. I've tried to remember whose name was on the previously available jar -- I think it may have been "B & Q"? Now I can only find the common Mt. Olive Sweet Relish stocked in our grocery stores. So, I searched on Amazon and found this grass-green Chicago-style relish, which was just what I was looking for. I am now placing a second order for more bottles of this delicious relish!!
