Brewing gingerbeer in bucket.i want to add thisto kill any bacteria.but would it prime in the bottles when i decant from bucket?or is yeast killed?ty

No it won’t kil the yeast. But just wash the bottles out with is, don’t leave it in the bottles. We found it worked really well.

Does this kill bacteria? Also could it be added at the end of fermentation of ginger beer?

Hello Yes that is correct (Sodium Met kills bacteria) it can be used to make a sterilising solution or as a fermentation stopper, it is in fact campden tablets in a powder form. Careful with amounts when adding to wine, some very small measuring spoons would be handy if using to replace campden tablets. Regards Brad
