The hose assembly fits perfectly.
The part arrived quickly and fit like an OEM part. My wife actually likes to vacuum and we have three cats. I am getting pretty good at replacing parts of her Dysan vacuum. This part nicely replaced the worn hose on the vacuum cleaner. It snapped right in and we are back up and running.

Dyson is fixed
Put on my Dc 40 it had a tear in top from use this restored it to new well worth it.

Just make sure it fits what is needed for your Dyson Animal.
It fit perfect and works great...so far. I have only vacuumed 3 or 4 times. So that is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5.

Exact replacement - vacuum is good as new!
This is an exact replica of the factory one. Save time and money and order this one as it was cheaper and came faster than ordering direct from Dyson. My dyson is over 10 years old and works just fine except for the damaged hose. I was worried I would have to replace the entire vacuum but decided to try and fix it myself first. I’m so glad that I did! Set up was easy and intuitive. It took less than 5 minutes to remove old hose and attach replacement. Tip: first impression was that this was shorter than my exisiting hose but I quickly realized it was just because mine was stretched out from years of use.
