Good quality and accurate
I have used it a few time so far, and no issues. I do own a set of Mitutoya digital vernier calipers that are professionally calibrated and certified, and this bore gauge/digital indicator is right on the money according to it. I verified for any deviations and there were none. Since it's not something I use very often, I won't be able to attest of how well it does over time but, if you happen to need a bore gauge for your garage/hobbies, this is a nice piece at a really fair price. I trust it. (Used it to verify cylinder bore size, roundness and taper on a 454 block)

Adequate for my purposes at the right price
Bought this for my engine rebuild. I had to figure out how to measure with it as the instructions are not the clearest. It’s good to 3 decimal points, plus a half thou when exceeded. This was enough for my purposes. If I need a more accurate value, I use a Plastigauge. Basically, you first need to find the right stem, potentially in combination with a spacer, that fits in the ID you wish to measure. Note that the little nib on the opposite side of the stem needs to touch and be able to deflect within the ID of the cylinder you’re measuring. Once you have the ‘dial’ indicator rigged properly, you then measure the length of the measuring end, and to determine the actual diameter, subtract the indicated ‘compressed’ value from the uncompressed length of the measuring tool. My engine piston sleeves definitely need to be replaced.

Wish I spent more for more precision. And analog.
Accurate to 0.0005", or 5/10,000", or 0.01mm. Or "half a thousandth". In other words, the precision leaves just a little too much uncertainty regarding some particularly tight tolerances in my rebuild. Otherwise, great product all around. It's a good value, but it was the wrong tool (for me) to cheap out on. Just a matter of time until you need it and the batteries are dead though. Sure to be annoying.
