Barefoot Coffee "The Beast" Dark Roasted Whole Bean Coffee - 12 Ounce Bag

REALLY good. We've been trying DARK roasts at work for a few months now - over 50 different ones so far - this one is top 5 - really good ! Smooth WITH lots of DARK ballzyness still !

I believe myself to be a pseudo "coffee snob" without a whole lot of knowledge about the different kinds of coffee or the different roasts. I just know what I like. And I like The Beast! I tried this through a subscription service and found it to be so smooth and luscious. It quickly became my favorite coffee of all time. I grind the beans and make in in an Aeropress. Full flavored, smooth, lots of character. They say it takes like Snickerdoodle, but I don't get that. Whatever. Still the best cup of coffee I've yet found.

I have to disagree completely with the description on the bag. What I got was under roasted, bland boring coffee. Not dark at all, I would call this a light to medium roast. I expect a lot more when paying well north of 20 bucks a pound.
