Seems to work really well. Much better than the cheaper 'single function' thermometers. Useful min and max function.

I have a freezer located in a dry shed and although I am advised that it will function correctly in most UK temperatures, I thought this gadget would be handy to check whether the freezer maintains a suitable temperature all the time, as I have no wish to eat food that has thawed out and then refrozen. So I bought this little thermometer, which appears to do the job admirably, but it has only been working for a day, so time will tell. One drawback I find, is that the fridge magnets are not strong enough to hold it in place on the front of the fridge - it stays attached, but slides down, which is irritating. I have used the stick-on Velcro pads that were supplied to get round the problem. No idea if this was the purpose as the instructions are basic at best.

Works but how accurate it is is anyone's guess

Although these thermometers are ok as a general indicator of the internal fridge/freezer temperature, my experience has shown that they are not particularly accurate. I believe this is mainly down to the fact that there is no easy way to run the sensor cable from the outside unit into the internal sensor inside the fridge or freezer - the cable is round and rigid and so distorts the fridge or freezer door seal. If the manufacturers were to replace the round cable with a discrete thin flat one, these thermometers would, I am sure, function much more efficiently and be a 4 or 5 star buy. As they are at present, regrettably they only warrant 3 stars.

To get a good idea of what's going on in your fridge you need a waterproof thermometer you can put in a glass of water otherwise you are checking the air temperature which will fluctuate more widely. This was the cheapest one I could find with a waterproof probe and it seems to work ok.

Nice digital thermometer with remote probe. Seems accurate and easy to use. I think compared with others it is a little pricey, but still good value. My one gripe would be that the flex to the probe is quite stiff and would distort most fridge seals possibly causing a reduction in efficiency, for this reason I have decided not to use it on our fridge.

Cheap but it's still better quality than the original it's replacing. Came with instructions. Works well. Used for the turbo 500 still. Reads accurately.

Tut ganz gut als Thermometer für den Tiefkühlschrank. Das Kabel ist etwas dicker/steifer als erwartet, geht aber noch. Habe die Anleitung verlegt und lange gesucht, wie man den Alarm einstellt. Für alle anderen, denen es auch so geht: Den Alarm-Knopf 🔔 2 Sekunden gedrückt halten. Im Display blinken HIGH und OUT. Den C/F-Knopf auf der Rückseite drücken, um das obere Limit einzustellen. (Oder C/F gedrückt halten für Schnelldurchlauf) Den Alarm-Knopf 🔔 noch einmal drücken. Im Display blinken LOW und OUT. Den C/F-Knopf drücken, um das untere Limit einzustellen. Den Alarm-Knopf 🔔 nochmals drücken, um die Einstellung zu beenden. Wird das Limit überschritten, piepst der Alarm einige Male (vielleicht insgesamt 5 Sekunden?) und ist dann erst mal stumm. In Abständen von gut einer Minute wiederholt sich das piepsen.

Je souhaitais voir afficher la température de ma cave à vin ainsi qu'avoir une alerte température en cas de dysfonctionnement de celle-ci. C'est parfait. Notice en anglais, mais cela ne pose pas de problème. Je recommande ce produit.
