Echo Dot (5th Gen) with Clock | Glacier White with Sengled Smart Color Bulb

I have used my dot now for several months and just love it. I like that I can see the time anytime I look at it. I also like that it tells you the temperature inside and out. It also houses all the other features of the old Alexa pucks. Of course you can't see things on it like the show but this one is compact, works well, and sounds really good too. I use her for so much,, she helps me to remember appointments, to get things done on my to-do list, birthdays etc. I hate the mobile app though. The first app was so easy to use now it is so damn complicated that I don't even bother with it except when I need to. I really wish they would simplify the application again or give us a book on how to use it. I would give zero stars for the application, it sucks.

I very much like the ability to play music and ask for needed information. I've setup some home automation with lights and it's been working very well; so far.

I have my Alexa for over a year now, and I really love it, sometimes I feel really lazy and I don't want to get up and turn on and off the lights and she does it for me. Also helps me with my daily routine

We gave this to my parents for Christmas and for an older couple they are having a blast. While they speak spanish to her, alexa sure can make them laugh and try to repeat the same thing over 3 times. But it is definitely useful for them.

The bundle was great the speakers are all right the light bulb is okay I'm glad I bought these they are real fun I would definitely buy again especially since they are bundled and that makes for a special purchase. They took away the one thing that made the echo DOT awesome, the 3.5mm audio jackThese sound better than the old hockey pucks but are not nearly as versatileThe clock feature is niceIt also scrolls some other informationThis came with a smart LED bulb

What can I say... I love my Echo Dot. We have it in our bedroom. You can control your smart devices (lights and sockets), turn on your Amazon Firestick TV and tune to the streaming service of you desire (plus increase/lower volume, skip and rewind, and more), listen to Sirius XM, Pandora and other music services. Plus, like Siri, you can ask just about anything and get an answer. We have an Echo Show as well, I like this more than the Echo Show and the sound is surprisingly good.Amazon, if you are listening... Let's talk about exchanging my Echo Show for another Echo Dot.

I really like the Echo Dot with the clock. It recognizes voice commands very well, and the Amazon echo system is great for all my home automation devices. This version has a thermometer and can tell me the temp inside, though it's off by 3 degrees.Minor issue: this device doesn't hear me as well as the old "hockey Puck" style of Echo Dot. I moved my old Echo Dot to my kitchen. It's 25 feet away from where I sit, but it sometimes answers me even though I sit 2 feet away from this newest 5th gen version.I also have a Google Mini, which I've found doesn't handle my home automation anywhere near as well, not to mention I had to do a factory reset just to change the Wi-Fi network. Google is horrible.
