Like so many of these types of adaptors - it will only work if your device has specific support for displays over USB-C using the display port alternate mode. If your USB-C 3.2 port doesn't have that feature then it won't work. I do find the title misleading - it isn't USB-C it is a specific feature that isn't present on most USB-C ports. You'll probably find not all your ports on your laptop support this.But as a cable it feels great, nice brade along its length. Nice connectors that use metal housings. If your computer supports the required feature then great. It worked in my laptop, but doesn't work on my desktop.

Tried this out using a Samsung phone which supports USB to HDMI connection (Samsung DeX). Tried it with a 4K Samsung TV.Headline is that this seems a good cable that works well. Read on for a few tips if you’re new to this type of thing.At first I struggled with this as the image quality was awful. Clearly very low res, smeary etc. Certainly of no use for playing media which was what I was primarily interested in (i.e. rather than using phone in desktop mode).I had not used Dex before so spent a bit more time trying to understand. I found resolution settings and even with the resolution set to max, the desktop display of Dex didn’t look great. Text was indistinct and I would not have wanted to work with this as a screen as I think it would have been a real strain on the eyes. I found that this seemed mainly down to TV settings however and the picture could be improved significantly. Short version is that what suits a TV picture won’t necessarily be that great of using as a monitor. Reducing contrast, sharpness and brightness are worth a try. Probably not an issue if you’re using with a monitor however.I played a higher resolution Youtube video and once I’d ensured that Youtube was playing at maximum quality and Dex was set to 2160 resolution, it looked great (see pictures – one of the whole screen and another close enough to see TV pixel structure).Cable is thick and covered with a fabric braid. Strain relief on connectors is only OK. It’s a bit of a bugbear of mine, that many cable manufacturers prioritise neat “Apple-like” strain relief over something stronger. It’s far too early to say what durability will be like, but I don’t think it’s a stretch to say it could be made better. Mentioning in case this matters to you, but it’s not enough to drop a star.But this is no different to a majority of cables of various types now. Plug housings are metal and even wrapped in a removeable clear plastic on delivery. The overall impression is one of quality and I’m happy to recommend.

I know there are wireless HDMI transmitter/receivers available in the market but I actually prefer hardwired connections.What I required was a cable long enough to reach the TV monitor/projector from my laptop, so I was pleased to discover this 3m USB-C to HDMI cable by Txtcu and was keen to try it out.The cable arrived in a sealed plastic retail packaging and both the HDMI and USB C connectors were fitted with plastic caps to protect against particle ingress.The braiding of the cable and the connector mouldings were of high quality.Whether I connected with my laptop or Chromebook as ‘source’, the video connection established quickly. And as advertised this cable delivers crisp HDMI image quality with no hiccups.It now resides permanently in my laptop bag as a handy accessory. Will consider getting another one, just in case.Both cable sturdiness and connector build quality justify the advertised price.

IV just bought this and Iv add it one day and it doesn't work with anything. I got it for my projecter to my phone and it doesn't work at all . My partner is a electrician and also fixes game consoles so he knows wat he's doin . He said it didn't work . So I threw it . I won't be buying again

This is an excellent, reliable cable.The construction feels very solid at the connectors, and the braided cable itself feels rugged and strong.I used it to connect my MacBook Pro 16" to a 4K LG OLED TV, and it worked perfectly. The image is clear and everything works as expected.Overall, very happy with the performance of this cable!
