I have a hand truck with no holes drilled for a cotter pin. I got these to make things easy. and it is easy. I found these worked best with NO WASHERS , just the wheel and the collars. its a 4mm allen head screw to tighten down into place. i left a very small gap between the collar and the wheel bearing area to allow to roll smoothly. these are the best ! i have valve stems that are straight not curved no interferrence with the collar.

Having a broken wheelbarrow and some old lawnmower wheels but not having a hand truck, I decided to fix that situation with the reclaimed parts, some leftover and reused lumber, a 1/2-inch diameter steel axle from the local hardware store, and some bolts and screws. What I didn’t have was something to keep the old wheels from falling off the axle but that’s where the AR-PRO 1/2” BORE SOLID STEEL SHAFT COLLARS WITH ZINC PLATED COATING come in. The 4-pack set I received was well made, looked great, fit the axle perfectly, and tightened down well with an Allen wrench from my toolbox. These wheels aren’t going anywhere but around and around and where I drive them! Highly recommended, 5*, and will remember these for future possible projects.

The dimensions are good, so if the material it's made out of is good, it should work. The only critical dimension is the bore, and one checked at 0.629" to easily fit a 0.625 (5/8") shaft. They lost a star for not stating the country of origin.

Worked great! I used them as spacers on a 1" shaft. Fit great comes with set screws. Would buy again if needed.

These were exactly what I needed. I was building an adaptor for my mini excavator attachments Hydraulic post hole auger, corkscrew log splitter and 4 blade mower attachment. These worked perfect for spacers. Great speed on shipping too.
