Crap
These are not 1200lbs more like 12lb should be called lard links they are soft as butter and when you tighten up the locking nut it strips the threads on both ends do not buy. Only good for holding a paper bag. Cheap yeah really cheap. Wish I could leave a review with no stars.

Links Seem Strong And Well Made, Shipping Not So Much
The chain links were packaged in thin plastic bags inside of another slightly heavier plastic bag. By the time they arrived, both inside and outside bags were torn open and over a quarter of the links were missing. There was also a smaller link inside, maybe a bonus? In any case, it wasn't much of one with a lot of the links lost, which I can only assume happened in transit. The links themselves seem great! Strong, and easily open and close. Well worth the money ... if they could be packaged a bit better.

Not for a serious project
You get what you pay for. Absolute junk. I bought these to fix my tractor tire chains. Tried one this AM, the screw latch fell apart. Like others have said, if this is used for something light, probably ok. If you gave a serious project, these are not for you.
