I used it on a leather project. I was using a piece of wood before. Made the stamping a whole lot better!!! Well worth the money.

Looks and works great. Very sturdy flat surface. Little on the small side but is well worth the money if you want to do leather tooling.

Does not look like the one in the picture (mine is all white). I'm not sure it was worth what I spent on it, it came with chips in it. Does work for tooling like any other thick slab of granite would.

Wow, this thing is a game changer as a semi novice leather crafter. Been pounding on a piece of wood and with this I can pound much softer to get my marks. Hopefully this helps save my tendinitis in my shoulder!! A huge bonus now that I can be quieter not having to pound as hard!

Size is good for tooling..

I have the larger version of this, but wanted a smaller granite block for my small leathercraft projects. The 6x6 inch is just the right size for my smaller projects. I also purchased the 6x6 inch poundo board to use with the granite block as well. Very pleased with this purchase.

Top side very well polished, excellent surface for setting rivets and snaps. Provides great support for using punch board.
