Recommendation: We strongly recommend to get 'replacement' and 'cleanout nozzles' in case it clogs or the nozzle dries out. Note: Please don’t forget to shake the Aluma's can – this is heavy duty formula – literally needs a 3-4 minute shake before its use. The special feature of Aluma-Hyde II (and the reason for its development) is its increased resistance to bore cleaners, solvents and other cleaning chemicals, even trichloroethylene. Today’s family of fast, aggressive bore cleaners really do a terrific job getting dirty gun bores sparkling clean, but they can wreak particular havoc with any other finish they contact. After full cure, Aluma-Hyde II proved solvent-proof to all but the most aggressive, copper-removing bore solvents. Aluma-Hyde II is formulated with a hard-curing epoxy base that contains additional, high-density pigment for a durable finish that sticks to all properly prepared aluminum and alloy surfaces, steel and plastics - it’s great on synthetic stocks. Aluma-Hyde II is available in a variety of colors to help the gunsmith match the vast number of applications found in the average gunshop. Aluma-Hyde II dries to the touch in only minutes and reaches full cure in about a week. Absolutely no primer coat is required for a tough, durable, abrasion-resistant, rustproof finish that blends beautifully and compliments all gun finishing applications.

This is basically magpie fde
This coat works amazing. I’ve used the dark green before and it worked amazing, so I decides to give this a shot. They knocked it out of the park with this. I originally bought green, black and tan expecting to do a pattern, however, this base coat looked amazing so I left it alone

Great Quality - Follow the YouTube steps
Left is the Brownell’s Earth Brown. Much Better Than Rustoleum – in term of Quality. The item on the right in my photo is Rustoleum Metallic Champagne Bronze. I tried both, and the Brownells product is way better in almost every way (color). It’s easier to apply, dries faster, and most importantly, it doesn’t have that sticky/tacky feel even after just a few hours—unlike Rustoleum, which still felt tacky after a full week.Only reason I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because the color doesn’t quite match the cap. I was expecting a darker brown, but it came out lighter than expected. I might try Coyote next from them. Brownells.—please release more color options

good but gotta shake
Really solid paint, really good finish and feel. Durability and resistance seems quite good so far. Only issue I found, which brownells clarified numerous times on there youtube channel. You gotta shake this thing like no other can. My reccomendation is to listen to salt shaker and shame it to the beat, twice

Worked but left a lot to be desired
Even after warming and shaking for nearly a half hour spray was inconsistent. It was cold outside but I would not use again unless I was in a heated spray booth.
