This Tapo bulb impressed me from the start. Setup was effortless through the Tapo app and paired instantly with Alexa. The brightness is excellent more than enough to light a medium-sized room and colours are vibrant without looking artificial. Definately worth getting into the tapo ecosystem over phillips with the other items available I’ve set it on a timer to come on gradually in the mornings, and it works every time without delay. The energy monitoring feature is a nice bonus too. The integration with Matter means it’ll work across platforms if I ever switch ecosystems. For the price, it’s outstanding value and performs just as well as Philips Hue bulbs I’ve owned previously.

I was looking for a smart light, and I found this one brilliant. Easy to setup, having matter helps the setup. Linking to Google home is easy as it easy to do thanks to matter. The tapo app is brilliant, lots of settings available, timer and stuff like that. Great price, will probably be upgrading my home bulbs to this one. Lighting is good as well. I don't normally review things, but because this was so easy compared with other bulbs I had, I had to review it.

Super fast to set up & connect to Apple Home, and reconnect when the power is switched back on. It’s also a great deal, cheaper than a few other lightbulbs out there. There was no noise or flickering, and I loved the customisation of being able to add schedules and the features where the light gradually increases/decreases brightness when it is powered on. (You need to set that up on the Tapo app, though.) (The dimming even works when I use my watch to turn off the light, so it works cross-IoT-ecosystem) All in all, I’d buy one for every room in the house. (PS, It also tracks energy usage so that’s nice too)

Good bulbs, The Matter connectivity allows it to connect quickly with most systems such as alexa, which detected the bulb when turned on. Nice and bright with good colour representation.

Great. Have had it for over a year now and no problems. Very occasionally it does disconnect from my app and the bulb starts flashing, but just need to open the app to fix it

Love these, pairing and setting up is a breeze. Lovely warm to 'every colour ever' adjustments. Doesn't flicker or have a weird headache giving light. If you turn off the power to it and on (i.e., a light switch) .. it will instantly come on @ the last setting (like a normal lightbulb 💡) Super Bright amd can be dimmed really low. Works perfectly with Google Home, can change any light in the house with voice commands with Phone, tablet and smartwatch with no delays or lag… Instant. Setting single 'keyword' commands with Google Home to set any mood, or time based setting is fab. So… Is a smartlight needed? No, not really… But when you have one, it's a game changer.

Tapo L535E bulbs are easy to set up and work well. The CRI which is colour rendering index is advertised on Amazon as 90+ when it is actually 80. I highly recommend.
