These are very high quality and made for life: the fabric is soft and strong, and the zippers are noticeably sturdier and smoother than average. The compression feature works reasonably well, but just due to the nature of physics, it will compress more on the edges than in the center.

Nice cubes that color match and fit my Briggs and Riley carry-on suitcase.

Bought these as a gift for my husband. He just returned from a trip and commented how perfectly they fit in his B&R suitcase.

I tried several different brands from Amazon and beyond and settled on these. They're by far the most expensive but here's why I love them: -By far the best constructed, will hold up for years to come. -The compression keeps these in rectangular shape, not down to a football shape like most do. I love that they're ~4" when open and compress down to 2". Much easier to close than the other shapes and I feel like I can really stuff them. -My other favorite are the Eagle Creek classic cubes- I've had mine for over 10 years and still holding up strong- the compression on these BR is what makes me put them at the top of the list. -Zipper opens all the way up on the wide side instead of the narrow side. Easier packing and getting into while traveling for me. -LOVE the tight weave mesh- breathes but still feels very heavy duty and can see what's inside. Now for the things I don't love: -They're slightly smaller than Eagle Creek- and most other brands. Wish they were an inch longer to fit even more and to fit perfectly flush in my suitcase. -Wish handle was on the long side instead of the narrow side. These are minor issues. Overall I love these cubes! Very expensive compared to most but they had all the key features I was looking for and will last a lifetime.

I received the B&R expandable essentials kit as a gift. The gift giver didn’t get it monogrammed in cases I wanted to exchange it for a different model. When I called B&R to get it monogrammed they said it would cost an extra $20. A pretty dumb policy in my mind.
