After contacting the company they generously and promptly replaced the unit! I find Vantrue to very conscientious of their product and customer support was great! Original Review Below Removed from vehicle for the night layed it down on my kitchen table and the lens broke off…..Poorly made. Also gets very super hot!. Don’t expect any great support. There is no human to talk too! Sooooo disappointing…

Ok has issues hope seller makes things right
I expected better but the hard wire kit that came with bundle is garbage so can hard wire this camera. The accelerometer that detects collisions is not calibrated correctly, every time I go over a bump, rough patch of road of a dip on the highway the system records a collision event. Motherday’s weekend I drove 225 miles the camera had numerous collision events because of the defective accelerometer. The camera takes great videos but I believe I overpaid for something that wolfbox charges for $140. I hope the seller steps up and does the right thing

Nice cameras
Purchased three of these along with the hardwire kit for 24/7 monitoring. The three cars were a 2016 Toyota RAV4, a 2019 Honda HRV and a 2022 GMC Canyon. All were relatively easy to install- the GMC was the easiest to install being that the A pillar and headliner are easy to peel back and conceal wires neatly. All three had 256gb SanDisc High Endurance micro SD cards installed with zero issues. The only thing that knocks a star off is that you can't watch your car "live" on your smartphone and another 1/2 a star for the fact that you don't/can't get instant alerts if someone tampers with your car or if it gets hit. You have to be inside your vehicle to look at footage which for a $400.00 system and it being 2024 is unacceptable. The app is okay, not great but manageable- to use it however, you need to be in your vehicle ( come on Vantrue, really?). Camera performance, quality, and appearance are great. The package it comes in is stellar. Video quality is acceptable although you are not going to get license plates in fast moving vehicles ( typical for all car recorders). Night vision is okay and I had no issues connecting WIFI to all 3 cameras in my garage once all were installed. All in all, a nice camera system that covers all the angles inside your vehicle and front and rear views. Vantrue just needs to add live view and motion/tamper alerts and this would be a 5 star A+ system.
