Get the 6" tape, you'll be glad you did. I got this for "just in case" moments after getting a new hoop house 6x8' greenhouse. So glad I got this. After only a few months of use, my greenhouse started leaking at a seam that is about 2 foot inside the door and goes across the entire roof of the greenhouse and us about 2" wide. This tape obviously is wide enough to cover the seam well on either side of midline. It covered nicely and even though I did get a few "crinkles" in the tape while applying it, it practically blended in and you can't noticeably see the taped seam. I am hoping the repair holds up after a few rain showers. I will update further on how well it holds up long term.

I'm fairly happy with the repair tape as it is holding up through about solid week of cold rain, and a number of very cold days. I hope it will keep holding because I do not think I can put anther patch on given the condition of the underlying plastic.

Having greenhouses is great until they get a rip or tear in them. This repair tape makes these oops moments seem like happy accidents. The tape peels off well. However, you'll want to make sure you get the edge along the whole strip to avoid tearing it. The tape is strong, durable, and, so far this year, seems to be waterproof.The tape is thick, which is vital for greenhouse repairs. I've used some cheap greenhouse tape that came right off or made the tears worse, but not this stuff. It works incredibly well. I really appreciate that even though it has a strong adhesion, it can easily be adjusted after it's placed, but only at first. This is good because you don't want the tape to come off any dang time the wind blows.

We have an aluminum hoop style greenhouse frame that came with its own custom-fitted cover that was made of translucent rip-stop material. Well, after two years in the heat (100+ F) and cold (-12 F), the cover was disintegrating in between the rip-stop threads, allowing rain, insects, etc. in.First we used this to patch some areas and it held up great.Now that winter is here, we’ve taken the old cover off and used this tape to join together multiple sections of plastic sheeting - to make our own new greenhouse cover. Saved us a ton of money using this tape and our own sheeting versus ordering a custom fit greenhouse cover.Really have no complaints. Tape is wide, easy to apply, and holds really well so far! Love it!

I wanted to see how durable this was before I really needed it this winter, so I taped a plastic bag together around a square aluminum pole that gets full sun. Its been there in the same exact position for over a month and hasn't budged an inch...no pealing from the edges or anything, it looks like it did when I put it on there. I love how its 6" wide and helps disperse the load/pressure on the repair. I'm not looking forward to needing this tape, but I'm glad I have it and can keep my tomatoes producing over wintertime.

Did not stay stuck on during the cold.

This repair tape has many uses beyond greenhouse repairs. I've so far used it to fix a small tear we had in the awning on our camper, and a few tears in the tarps my husband uses for roofing jobs, and a few dry rotted spots that have developed on the covers for our patio furniture. I like that its clear and doesn't stand out on any color. Most importantly, it it's saved us money by extending the life of these things. It adheres well to the plastic and canvas surfaces I've used it on and I've had no leaks.
