Why did you pick this product vs others?: I am an off-roader and needed a tape to mount my numerous gadgets in the cockpit of my truck. I really needed an adhesive that works in the southern climate inside my vehicle. 3M is always the winner when it comes to reliability and quality. After researching the best heat type adhesives, this brand and type were always top of the list. Ease of removal: The point of purchasing this adhesive is so that it bonded well and was NOT easy to remove. This has succeeded on that front in our recent temperatures in the south. The surface is painted with a clear coat where I mounted the tape, making this easy to remove residue with little effort and no damage. Heat resistance: PERFECT! Most adhesives become super soft and saggy in high heats then any item mounted will fall off. This adhesive was exactly what I needed to beat the southern heat. Works well: Easy to use and will remain a staple in my vehicle for all mounting purposes. It is thin enough to not add depth to any mounted item. Stickiness: The stickiest! I have gone thru 4 other mounting strips in my vehicle and this one is by far the best I have used. Adhesion: I am not sure what other surfaces this could be used on, but for my purposes this was the perfect adhesion. When you first pull it from roll, it does not appear to have a lit of stick, but this has out performed any other tape I have used. Size: This is perfect size for small or large items, since it is tape, you can cut it down for small items or use a few strips for larger items, but your adhesion improves over time - always wait a little longer for bonding to set before mounting an item to the tape.

Used it for the back of a dimmer switch for mount reasons. Values good, good quality its a 3M item. Thickness is good. Thick while still being light/sturdy and slightly smaller.

This tape worked well but only after I was able to remove the plastic shell from the exposed side of the roll. I think if the plastic protection was a little thicker, not much, it would be easier to get it started and then pull it off. Sticks well. funny; Alexa called it "tree meter tape", not the brand name.

Worked great for sticking led lights onto the back of my TV. The adhesive on the light strip was not sticky enough for the slick plastic on the OLED back but this 3M tape did it no problem

For RC applications, this is the best double sided tape you can buy. It is the old MIP MXT tape. Sticks like glue. Easy to peel off the outer layer to apply. Comes off nicely too in one piece.

This tape was okay, but it did not work as well as I had hoped. It stuck initially, but over time, it did not hold as strongly as I expected for a heavy-duty mounting tape. Depending on what you are using it for, it may work fine for lighter items, but I would not rely on it for anything heavier. It was easy to apply and seemed like good quality, but the overall holding power just wasn’t as strong as I expected. Decent product, but not quite what I was hoping for.
