My favorite EDC pen
I love how compact this pen is! The bolt action works flawlessly, the pen is very strong, and it feels surprisingly comfortable in the hands despite its small size. I did have issues right when I opened it getting ink to flow, but since it first started flowing, I’ve had no issues since. I think it’s a great EDC pen and it’s a great value for the money!

Great EDC pen
Decided to pick up a pack of these after trying out RitR's larger bolt action pen (BK16). I wasn't sure about the smaller size and plastic construction of these guys at first compared to their larger, metal counterpart but I actually think I like these quite a bit more. The No. 20's plastic body, while lacking the premium feel of RitR's metal bolt action pens, is thick and durable - there's little doubt this thing can survive quite a bit of abuse. The pen has a noticeable heft to it despite its size, too, though it's still light enough that it easily disappears into the pocket. The bolt action is nice and smooth out of the box, making it a blast to fidget around with while watching TV. While shorter than a traditional pen, the No. 20 has a nice triangular shape that makes it easy to grip, and the textured portion on the bottom half provides a natural index point for your fingers. The pen also has a surprisingly nice weight balance as well. While you probably don't want to use these for extended note taking sessions, the pen is perfect for jotting down a quick reminder or phone number in a pocket notebook. The Fisher ink cartridge performs well, like most other of their RitR branded pens. I've mostly used mine with my No. 754 pocket notebook, and I've had zero issues with skipping. The pen's one achilles heel is the location of the bolt handle, directly behind the pocket clip. While that spot makes the pen easy to operate, I've had the handle get snagged a couple times when stowing or retrieving the pen. I'm also not certain how long the plastic pocket clip will hold up. While it seems sturdy, almost every plastic pen I've used long term has wound up with a broken clip.

Super smooth pens!
Best pens I've ever owned. Write smoothly, don't jam up. Good for all writing, not just with their special paper.

Fun Pen
I work out of an office for a road construction company, and sometimes I have to go out into the field and document the work being performed. I live in the PNW so it rains a lot in the winter and spring, and I'm old fashioned in the sense that I prefer pen and paper over a tablet. So after a couple shifts out in the rain and returning with a soaking wet sheet of paper and smudged ink, I decided it was time to pull the trigger on something I'd been eying for over 10 years: Rite in the Rain. I got the notebook and the pen. I'd originally gotten a pen where you have to take the cap off, and honestly that got annoying haha so I knew I wanted to get a retractable pen. And then I found this, the Mini Bolt-Action Pen. It's made of durable plastic, which is also lightweight. I sometimes lost the pen because it was so light and couldn't feel it in my pocket! With that being said, it being a bolt-action pen, I need feel a sense of wanting more out of the bolt-action function. I wanted more power hahaha but that's okay. For what it is, this is an excellent pen and it writes in the rain!

Great inexpensive and reliable EDC pen!
Two things one should carry everyday (except through TSA!): a pocket knife and a pen. This pen fills that purpose well! It has a Fisher ink refill in it so it writes in any position, the ink is waterproof and writes smooth. The lanyard loop is a plus if you need to carry a pen on a lanyard. And the bright orange makes it easy to keep track of!

Good at keeping rain from smudging once on the page
Better than any other pen I’ve used in the rain but you absolutely need “stone paper” and you cannot really write through droplets. You can dab the page with a cotton cloth to wick up droplets and immediately write over the area and it works well enough to be legible if you don’t already write like a 3 year old
