Has anyone had trouble with the nails first burning when using this lamp?

It's not the lamp that's burning you, it's the gel. It's called "flash time," and happens 2 to 4 seconds into curing time, depending on chemical formulation. The heat is the chemicals reacting with the light and each other to "set." Some clients have more sensitivity to it than others, but it is a normal part of the process. It can be momentarily painful for some... Just remove the nail from the light for relief, then restart the timer.

Does this nail dryer work for all nail polish or just gel?

UV and LED nail dryers only work with gel polishes. For regular nail polish I use a quick dry top coat and it has to air dry.

Can the gel polish dry on top of acrylic nail?

Yes. I have had it done. Both by a salon and by myself.
