I needed a new chain for a pendant I treasure whose original chain broke. I ordered this wheat chain and was delighted when it arrived and I saw how gorgeous it is. It works for my pendant but it also has enough presence to be worn alone as a simple necklace. I know I will get a lot of use out of this one. The weave is beautiful, the chain is sturdy, and the lobster claw clasp is easy to use. I highly recommend this chain to anyone looking for a quality piece of jewelry.

I bought this chain to replace a shorter rope chain that kinked up in too many places to be easily reparable. The wheat chain is a looser link style, so it doesn't stay kinked. It also doesn't snag my hair, which is quite a relief! The clasp is easy to open and is secure. I'm allergic to nickel and did not react to this chain. It's very shiny, no oxidized parts, so be sure that's what you want before you order. The chain is true to size and exactly what I was hoping for. Know your measurements when ordering chains for your jewelry; for example, I ordered a 2.6 mm, which is fairly chunky, for a big pendant. I wanted it to sit low, about the middle of my torso, so I went with 24 inches (2 inches longer than my old chain). If you're not sure what you're looking for, find a chart. As long you're ordering correctly, you will be pleased with the quality of this chain. I know I'm harping on that, but I see too many negative reviews all over Amazon from folks who ordered too short, too thick, whatever, and were displeased. Sac Silver is genuine 925 and this style is true to size, so figure out your measurements and enjoy.

Great and comfortable chain, easily adjustable and holds the adjustment well. However - the clasp loop is too big to pass through most of my pendants. I was able to fix this problem by very carefully using a jewelry making tool to squeeze the clasp loop that goes through the pendant into an oval.

I bought this for my wife to replace the flimsy and too short chain one of her pendants came with. Is it real sterling silver? Yes. No part of the chain is attracted to a magnet, except the clasps. A careful white cloth test left a little black mark after a short time. This is typical for any real silver including sterling silver which is 925 parts silver and 75 parts copper which, by the way, is also non magnetic. So much for that. It came in the exact length as indicated on the web site. The 'Wheat Chain' design is far less prone to kink as compared to other designs. This is advantageous, obviously. This also greatly reduces hair getting snagged or caught in the chain, also a great plus. Overall, the chain looks great. It really enhanced the appearance of the sterling silver pendant which she now wears far more frequently. This product is worth every penny of its price. My wife just loves it. Highly recommended.

Looking at other people's reviews that had ordered the lighter weight chains and considering the few complaints I opted to buy the 3.4 mm foxtail spiga chain at 24". I was worried that it might be a bit too thick to slip through the jump rings of some of my pendants but so far all have fit perfectly. There's been no problem with kinking or tarnish. Its a bright silver that is quite eye catching. It has a lobster catch but it's a slightly lighter weight than I'd have liked it to have been. Sturdiness is important to me because I intend to pretty much wear it all of the time. The pendant that will hang from it most all of the time will be a memorial urn that contains some of the ashes of my daughter and I'd be devastated should the clasp not hold up and I lose the chain with the pendant. All in all, I think this chain won't let me down and feel comfortable recommending it to you.

I bought 2. Different lengths so far. I would still like a shorter one,but With these I could get them over my head without Unclasping. Chain is beautiful And just Perfect for a large metal. This is a great price. I also brought a more expensive, thicker chain, But I could not get my medal on it. So then is best to buy this chain For a large Medal. I would say.

I purchased this chain as a pendant chain to replace the cheap "throw away" chain that came with a beautiful pendant I received for Mother's Day. The item arrived in a cheap folded cardstock box without any protection. It had black showing through the silver. I cleaned it with a soft silver polishing cloth and wore it anyway only to have it turn black in spots while I was wearing it! I've never had issues wearing sterling silver before, or since. It was almost as if they sold me something someone else had returned. Buyer beware.
