Fantastic light weight and quality lenses
When it comes to sunglasses, there is a lot of "marketing speak" about features from so many brands- it's sometimes tough to tell if they're really better than others or just better marketing. These truly seem to be higher quality than many others, particularly in the lenses- which is the important part. The frames are super lightweight, although they are stainless steel and not titanium or some other exotic material. They are SO lightweight that one could easily think they really are titanium. Everyone who has seen these and tried them on was shocked at how light they are- they almost seem fragile, but in reality they are quite durable. The lenses are what really stand out for me, as many expensive sunglasses are simply expensive for the sake of being expensive- more brand snobbery than quality. These don't suffer from that problem, and I really don't think these are expensive just for the name- the lenses truly are sharp and the filtering is excellent. Colors are crisp and clear with no optical distortions at all. Even the polarization seems better than any of my other sunglasses. I often get non-polarized because the polarization can mess with the ability to view LCD panels such as laptops and the electronic displays in an aircraft. The first time I flew with these, I instantly questioned whether I got the polarized version or not and had to double-check my order when the displays in the plane were not obscured like what happens with most polarized lenses. While the light weight can make one assume they lack durability, that has not been an issue. When wearing these for a long period of time, I don't find the lenses fatiguing to use and the light weight makes them easy to forget you're wearing them at all.So, overall these justify their premium price and hold their own against "professional" boutique aviation sunglasses and have replaced my vintage Serengeti shades as my "go to" when flying. The one application where I won't wear them is on my motorcycle, as strangely enough the light weight works against them there as they can easily shift from my helmet moving and they don't have enough weight to return to position on their own.Even a cheapskate like me can easily justify the premium price, as these truly offer comfort and performance that everyone claims- yet these deliver.

Luxuriously Lightweight and Stylish
These sunglasses are extremely nice! They arrived well packaged inside a box that’s inside another box, so they were quite protected. They come with a lens cloth and a hard storage case that’s interestingly triangular. Also, the lenses are polarized, and the frames are a very lightweight stainless steel. In fact, they're so lightweight that they almost don't feel like you're wearing any.As for their look, they’ve got this great aviator look that works great on both men and women alike. The lenses have gradation in their grey shade, which lends to the overall look. These are so nice that my husband has decided he likes wearing them, too. They’ve got that luxury feeling that I look for in my sunglasses, and I’d recommend them to anyone.

Stylish Sunglasses with Light Weight and Contrast, But Watch Out for Returns
These Maui Jim Sharks Cove Square Sunglasses are certainly eye-catching with their lightweight design and stylish appearance. The contrast provided by the Titanium/Neutral Grey Polarized lenses adds to their allure, enhancing the view without compromising on protection. However, my experience took a turn when it came to returning the product. Despite the initial attraction, the gradient on the frame didn't quite match my expectations, prompting a return. Unfortunately, the return process proved to be quite cumbersome, leading to unexpected hassles. Ultimately, I paid for a product that I didn't keep! a lesson learned to always keep your receipts handy. So while the sunglasses themselves are impressive, be cautious about the return process.

Great glasses, terrible paint that peels
I love these glasses but whatever Maui Jim coats these glasses is terrible. My first pair had black paint peeling off everywhere so I sent them in for repair. Cost me $15 plus shipping but I love these glasses. Now you can see 1 month later, the paint is starting to peel again. Great glasses but stay away from the black frames.

Great sun blocker
Theses glasses look great on with the blue color on the lens, but they are very light and flimsy. They don’t fit very tight and I wouldn’t wear them on a motorcycle. I like the style and it blocks a lot of sun, but even in the wind I am afraid they will fall off. The style and color are great but I wish they were a bit heavier, and the case is nice also!

Maui Jims are the BEST
This is my 3rd pair of Maui Jims. The brand speaks for itself. I got the Hawaii Lava pair just because I don't currently have this color. They are super light and the polarized lenses make for great clarity. You do see through the lenses a tad so you can see your eyes slightly but they still block the sun. They come in a foldable case which is different than my past Maui Jim cases. I am very satisfied adding these to my collection.

Maui Jim Quality All Around
We wear Maui Jim off the rack and prescription glasses too. Their sunglasses are the best. They give you a clear polarized view. They look outstanding and hip too! This pair of sunglasses is a great price for Maui Jim.Take it from someone who has been a Maui Jim sunglass and eyeglass we're for over 10 years. These are the best buy. You will never go back to wearing any other pair of sunglasses.
