Despite receiving email to say it had been despatched on Nov 12, it wasn't actually sent until 23rd. Product is good - comfortable to sit on, and sturdy. It folds away neatly. You may need to buy alternative fixings if, like me, you have plasterboard with a big gap behind it - the fixings _MUST_ go into a solid wall. The supplied fixings would be fine for a normal plastered wall. I saw a review of the same product from a different seller that said that, once fixed, the seat could not be removed. Although this appears to be case at first sight, because the folding seat hides the fixing screws, and the pins that hold the seat in place do not seem to be removable, I was able to get them out. The pins have a short threaded hole in the end, and it is easy to find a bolt which fits the thread, screw it in, and withdraw the pin that way (using a nut to make it like a hub puller if the pin is too stiff). I had to do this because I bounced up and down on the seat to make sure it was secure, and my fixings moved a bit!

Got this for my 90 year old nan and she absolutely loves it. Made it much easier for her to shower. Very sturdy and very slimline when folded away so takes no room at all. Highly recommended

A wonderful design, minus screws. Safety is very important. No information with regards the screw lengths required to keep stool in place safely.

Parts don't fit well. Some very tight others a bit too loose.

I purchased for my Dad whose 88 and 12 stone i fitted it ok onto a solid wall using 8mm masonory drill bit, hes very happy as cannot stand long, best priced item on amazon

Excellent product for the money. Delivered within 2 days. Robust design. Screws were a little short for my liking and that is why I gave it 4 stars. However for a few pounds more I bought the ones I needed. I would recommend this item, don't be fooled into paying more as this one does the job cheaply and efficiently.

Despite following the directions to the letter, the sheetrock anchors were unable to support the weight of my 44 lbs. daughter!!!! The anchors failed to activate and lock into place and just slid right out-of the wall!! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!!!

This seat is meant to be attached to a wall or shower enclosure with five (5) screws. In my opinion, attaching this to a drywall surface with expandable inserts is rather risky. Even risky screwing it onto a fiberglass shower stall wall. What we did was take a piece of 1" x 4" clear pine and screwed the wood through the drywall and into the studs on both sides. We then screwed the seat (with different larger diameter screws) onto the wood piece. This way, the load imposed is carried by the studs, not plaster and cardboard. Something to keep in mind when looking at load-bearing numbers from the manufacturers. "Will support up to 200 lbs." can be misleading. This is usually a "static load" which means 200 lbs, is very carefully placed onto the seat. In the real world, it's "dynamic load" which determines the seat's serviceability. Dynamic load takes into consideration the fact that a user will be dropping onto the seat from above. So the force a 150 lb. person could exert on the seat could be anywhere from 1½ to 2 times the person's weight. There are some clever things about this product, but know that a $25 seat will likely not be as good as a $200 seat. The trade off for price will be the need to exercise more care in its use.

I got this item on November 27th. Because my house was under construction I didn't open the box until today and I found the spare parts as listed in the photo is not on the box. I want to ask the seller send me all the spare part, so I can install it on my shower.

We had added support to the back of the wonder board before tiling and it still made noise when I was getting up. It doesn’t have enough strength to support someone that weighs 160 pounds. Going to buy one with legs.
