This stuff is great
Worked great for my aluminum boat remodeled.

Works for Wheel Polishing too
Fast shipping in 2 days. Made polishing aluminum OEM wheels much easier than scotchbrite pads and hours and hours of effort. Just hit the wheels with a couple of coats of this stuff after removing the clear coat, then polish with a buffing ball and metal polish.

I did not use your product for a boat application ...
I did not use your product for a boat application. Although I am trying to get acrylic resin to stick to aluminum honey comb for the purpose of makiing knife handles. I completely submerged the honeycomb in the etch for an hour. Did not work for me. Need a primer I think for this application.

Your mileage may vary...
It just works "ok", I was hoping for better results. My goal was to restore aluminum castings...it improved the finish slightly, but didn't bring it back to new. I had better luck with AlumiPrep. I think they're all the same thing (phosphoric acid (I COULD BE WRONG)), though they may be different concentrations.

Works Good On Pontoons
This product was used on a pontoon boat after first stripping the old paint. After removing the paint and sanding to bright bare metal, I wiped the surface clean and applied a bottle of this product following the instructions. I followed up with an epoxy primer that bonded very strongly to the raw aluminum.

Works fairly well.
Didn't do as well as I thought it would but definitely helped clean hard stuff.

Not sure i needed the product for my repair but figured it couldn't hurt. The etch wash cleaned up the area very well.
