I have a 2016 Audi Q5. I love my car, but no apple car play. So, since I don't like the voice on Waze, I have a holder in my a/c vent. But, I can't text without holding down a button on my phone, etc. You all know how apple car play works! So, I've had none of those features in my car. I decided to try this and was surprised by how inexpensive it was! I'm sure if I integrated it into where my screen is now, it would've been a few hundred dollars, but this just sits on my dash. The pros - easy easy set up! Bluetooth connected, paired and I was able to keep audio running through my car (so music and phone calls) and not use the speaker on the little unit. Touchscreen has been perfect! Siri makes texting easy and safe. Cons - CORDS!! I thought this was wireless, and I don't feel like figuring out if another unit would be better. But, because I need to always have my phone plugged in (not for the unit, Waze, etc., just drains the battery fast), I have two cords going now. My phone charger didn't work in my 12V spot, so I plugged this unit into that and kept my phone charger in the cigarette lighter. No, this old car doesn't even have USB! I also had to figure out, like others, where to put it. Yes, it does slide-ish in to the CD compartment, but that's too low. Too much looking down. So, I did adhere it to my dash and it doesn't interfere with my sight lines at all. Honestly, I'm amazed this thing works and I do love it. I have no idea if it can ever be wireless, or not. I'm also not using the back-up camera because I have one. So, there could be convenient features that I haven't bothered to try. But, it does seem pretty basic and I'm grateful for Waze at my eyeline and for responsive Siri texting while not touching my phone! See pics - you'll see the cords (white is my phone charger, black goes into my console), the difference of it in the CD holder (too low) and how it looks on my dash. All in all, a good purchase!

I’m very impressed with this portable CarPlay screen! The image is clear and bright, the touch response is fast, and it connects instantly to my iPhone via Bluetooth. The sound quality is excellent, and the navigation works smoothly without lag. It was super easy to install and looks modern in my car. Definitely worth the price and makes driving much more comfortable and safe! Highly recommend it!

This product is something no one should be buying, im a bit delayed in leaving my review, but glad I found the time to finally do it. I purchased this August 8th and it worked perfectly for the first weekend after receiving it but since then its been absolutely terrible. At first it would occasionally freeze, which i was okay with because I attributed the freezing to maybe it being overheated because of the warm weather, but as time went on and the weather became chilly the freezing became so frequent that now when it turns on I have about 30 seconds before it freezes, crashes and restarts itself. DO NOT Purchase this item and pay a bit more for something thats hopefully more reliable

My car does not have an AUX or Bluetooth connection option, so I was excited to find a way to connect my phone to the car radio and have a nice sized screen to view my maps on. This was my upgrade from my previous, smaller bluetooth device that broadcast over the radio. I liked this little device a lot for the first little while that I used it. Unfortunately, after about an hour (give or take) of continuous use, the device powers off and reboots itself. Very frustrating and annoying, but especially so when I am in the middle of following directions! That, combined with what I believe to be a weak broadcasting signal that causes a lot of static when playing through the radio have made this a return. PROS: • Easy and quick connectivity: Once I connected my iPhone to the device through CarPlay, it connects automatically every time I turn on my car and begins to play whatever music/audiobook I was last listening to. • Good size display that isn't too reflective CONS: • Reboots after about an hour of continuous use • Static-y sound when broadcasting through the radio • Few seconds of lag and sound delay when switching or pausing songs through my phone Also, I did not use the mounts that it came with—I already had a CD mount for my phone holder with a ball socket that the device was able to fit. I also did not attempt to install the backup camera.

I hooked this screen up in like ten minutes and wow it changed my whole drive the screen’s bright clear and connects to my phone fast every time I love that I can just talk to it for maps or music without touchin anything the video mirror link is awesome too I can watch stuff while parked and it looks super crisp the backup camera works perfect even at night and makes parking easy I didn’t have to take apart my dash or anything it just plugs in and goes now my old ride feels like a fancy new car

I wasn’t expecting much, but this portable CarPlay screen is amazing. It connected to my iPhone wirelessly in less than a minute, and the touchscreen is responsive with zero lag. I love that I can use Maps, Spotify, and answer calls without touching my phone. The backup camera was a bonus — surprisingly clear, even at night. Setup was literally just plug in, pair, and go. No installation or taking the dashboard apart. For the price, this completely transformed my older car into a modern one. Highly recommend.
