Drain hose required PTFE
Everything seems perfectly reasonable quality. I was pleasantly surprised to find "Italy" rather than "China" on one of the hoses! The drain hose was very loose fitting, requiring the metal clamp to require a lot of squeezing the (original) hose end being extended. This was to such a degree, that I was unconvinced it wouldn't leak. Given how firm the extension hose's "male" end is, I wrapped plenty of PTFE tape around it and now it fits snugly. I've used both the supplied metal clamp, and a second of my own.
