FUTURO 45843EN Small/Medium Deluxe Thumb Stabilizer

Bought this when I started experiencing weakness in my grip between my thumb and forefinger and tenderness at the base of my thumb, which was making some everyday tasks difficult. I have small hands and it fitted well and is really comfortable. Within two weeks the soreness is easing and my grip is improving. I've worn the thumb stabilizer overnight and also during the day when I'm working at the computer. It doesn't interfere too much with typing but writing is a challenge. I should say I've also started using my mouse with the other hand and being careful not to scroll my phone with my thumb. All of the above seem to have helped.

Does not have any metal or plastic reinforcing but still offers support to my painful thumb.

Bought this as support for thumb joint to help with the pain of arthritis. Fits well and does provide good support. Doesn't hinder movement of fingers and can easily perform most tasks whilst wearing it. Haven't tried washing it yet so can't comment on that. Easily adjustable to fit round wrist.

I bought this for a sprained thumb. It is really comfortable unlike another one I tried, it is lightweight yet provides a good level of support and is very adjustable and even looks quite stylish too! The reason I have not given it five stars is because there is a gap between the thumb elastic and the neoprene band that runs between the thumb and first finger. For me this created a lump over the day if I wanted the support firmly fitted. I actually ended up cutting the band and remodelling the support slightly which was easily done. Can't do without it just now. A great support which I would definitely recommend.

I found this product first while on holiday in Italy. I can't stress enough how pleased I was to be able to buy another via Amazon.I have repetitive strain and arthritis in my hands especially my thumb. This helps so much.

I only bought this thumb splint in December 2022, for my arthritic thumb, but already the bands used to fasten it in place, are no longer working - they have just lost their elasticity, which means they are just loose all the time. This renders the product useless. I am extremely disappointed, as this was recommended by the NHS MSK service, and not cheap.

This is one of the best thumb splint I ever tried. I have thumb overused from mobile telephone texting and using computer everyday. Wearing this nearly everynight has been a great preventative measure or using this most of the time if my thumb starts to hurt helps them to recover much quicker than normal. Highly recommended!

The futuro has helped my arthritis in my thumb so much and helped with the pain would recommend this to enybody

Ich hatte Probleme mit dem Daumengelenk in und vorher bereits eine andere, die äußerst unpraktisch war. So richtig besser wurde es auch nicht. Dieses Model hier hat dafür gesorgt, dass ich schmerzfrei bin. Man spürt sie kaum, da das Material sehr anpassungsfähig und gut einzustellen ist.

Gloves were delivered on time. Tried them out right away going kayaking. I had some joint pain already that day and could still feel it with the gloves on while paddling. However, I kept the gloves on and the pain subsided shortly after I got home from my trip. (I had ordered another more solid set of joint support gloves for kayaking, but since they have not arrived yet, I tried out these gloves.) I am surprised how well they help. Thank you for all the people who leave reviews. It helped me make the decision to try out these gloves.

My left thumb is what so called “trigger thumb”. It’s really painful and stiff in the morning and more painful before going to sleep. REST is one of the most important things to do for trigger finger recovery. But the thumb should stay at straight position while resting. Another important thing is keeping the thumb warm which will help with blood circulation of the inflamed area. This stabiliser does it’s job. I had it for two days and when I pressed the affected area. The pain is much less. Will update the progress after a few weeks.

So nice I ordered it twice (mostly because I lost the first one and loved it so much). So I tried (and returned) a lot of braces. My thumb injury is in a weird place. I needed support, but still need to be able to use my hand. This brace is comfortable, breathable, flexible enough to prevent atrophy but still has the support I need. A lot of braces I've needed to pad due to rubbing, not this one. Other have stabilized my thumb to the point where I can't use it to grip things at all, this one allows me to complete day to day tasks while still providing support for my thumb and wrist. No rash from sweating in the brace or pain from rubbing. Its honestly been the best brace I've had. Don't know if I'll work for everyone, but hands down best for me.
