Super buy! Great deal and very attractive.

I ran into some trouble installing and the manufacturer was incredibly helpful. A couple of assembly tips. The deadbolt is difficult to align. Use a bubble level on one side and have someone hold that side while you work on the other side (using a level). Once they are both level, the screws go in easy. Don't use a power drill or power screwdriver. Go slow and easy with a manual screwdriver to avoid stripping the screw. If the lock or latch are rough, put a little pencil lead on it. Graphite is a great dry lubricant.

Bought this top replace a broken mortise type lock set. Installer recommended that I also replace door. At this time, I'm still waiting for the door so I have no point of reference for wear or durability. The elegant look of the set makes it look much more expensive than it is.

This was an oddly difficult installation for me. I couldn't tell you if this is from my door or from the product but it took several hours, multiple holes needed to be drilled in my door, and a level of frustration that I haven't experienced before. The biggest issue I have is that the deadbolt lock broke. There was a small plastic piece inside the lock that broke and stopped it from working properly. I brought the piece to my local hardware store and they said that this piece cant' be replaced and I now need a new deadbolt for door. Of course this doesn't match the handle whatsoever and is an eyesore. I am highly disappointed in this produce.

Looks so cute but it gets loose often. It's also not super strong. The screws should be better.
